Lets hope the bits and bobs arrive on schedule or that will be another delay, we can only hope.
Don't agree - the funding will take the time it takes but I doubt very much it will take a long time from now.
same reason as you Ocelot, but we'll be waiting a long time.
What's the favourite saying.Don't want to be out of this over the weekend, Quick only 10 mins left to buy. I may be new, but i have been reading the same old c**p for a while and now i am having my say. There are worse things than getting filtered or banned, but i will always give people the message.
Invested, yes. Came in after GL became the MD for a modest amount, have brought my average down since the Brockham RNS.
"Too much flannel and no action for me".

Why, then, balancedviewer, do you remain invested?
Ocelot you never mentioned if your invested.
Filter away. but like many have pointed out we have been fed BS promises for too long. All mouth and trousers, name 1 thing this company has done properly.

another late Friday afternoon newbie ramper - it's so predictable
Too much flannel and no action for me.

Why, then, balancedviewer, do you remain invested?
ress2003,
I have put a number of persistently negative posters on filter, I have not yet done so for balancedviewer, who is a relative newcomer to the board.
I always look at the worst case scenario and everything else is a bonus. But with Angus i take everything with a pinch of salt until they keep just 1 of their promises. Too much flannel and no action for me.
Ocelot,,
Do what I’ve done and filtered the ones who come on to this forum and do nothing but bash this company and have nothing to say other then negative comments!!, it just gets tiresome having to scroll through there messages!!, there just very sad individuals who must have a lot of spare time on there hands!!!,,
maddog. please explain, i'm afraid you've lost me on that one.
So, if you are invested, then you want the company to succeed, don't you?
I'm invested, but i'm unable to speak for my invisible friend being unbalanced.
speaking of simple GL reply to malcy after he said the ticket was quite high. The reply was because there is an element of risk with connection. I do wonder if this is the reason for the finance taking so long to negotiate.
You say "we've missed", balancedviewer.
Does that mean you are invested in Angus?
this is still a good bet if you brought in at .8 ish because if they cannot fund it they will have to sell for around 1.5 p
So up to now we've missed 1 years much needed cashflow from SF due to slippages, and all that $70 oil from Lidsey being shut in. Never mind whats a few million between friends.
GL said I hope to pay dividends in 2 years on malcy summary. So we are presuming this cash is from SF. It's not from GEO because the timescale is too far ahead, and the longer this finance fiasco takes, the longer for cashflow. We all better hope the finance does materialise, because word will get around quickly and put off future placements. You can imagine how many shares would be issued for the £12m at this price of .75 of a penny.
GL and his assurances of things being "simple"...
Wasn't Poundland Gas just a simple matter of "turning the taps on", according to his lordship? Meanwhile a year's worth of unexpected delays later and with an utterly unforeseen£12 million funding shortfall...
Strikes me that things never turn out to be anything like as simple as George likes to make out.
speaking of effing up the geo drills which Gl said is a simple process, It's a good job tidds wont be incharge because he couldn't find the right hole.
one of the later questions asked about share price triggers, he mentioned the sign off will give the SP a boost as it validates the project, 20million debt facility for a company with a market cap of circa 8million
If (a) Angus can successfully close the finance, (b) they get SFB up and running, and (c) they don't eff up the geothermal drills, then it's possible.
However at this juncture I'm not looking that far ahead as I'm worried about (a) and keen for (b) to finally get done.
No-one has built a decent, paying deep geothermal operation in the UK - and they've been trying for years
