BV, I suggest you read up on wikipaedia for explanations.
As for the 3d it will be from the designers and it will have been signed off by a competent person - so I would not worry about that but i would worry about lead times and commissioning for the many pieces of plant especially in these days of chip shortages etc,
Taverham. What's your thoughts of the 3D setup, can i pick your brains to let me understand how the plant will work please.
Bv just now consulting and Donkeys years.
Yanis, there's really not much difference between your and my opinions at all.
"It's as if Angus have given up on getting the gas out and are concentrating on the sale."
It does seem like that. One has to ask why? Or if this isn't the case, where are the activities to cover the latest funding shortfall?
"The longer the delay the bigger the need for additional funds becomes, also the bigger the loss of potential profits that could eliminate the need for another raise."
All true. Plus, the longer the delay, the less either Saltfleeby or ANGS becomes worth to a potential purchaser, because the seller is going to be in an ever more distressed state, courtesy of the ever-ticking debt repayment and hedge fulfilment alarm clocks.
"In my opinion, unless they seriously increase site activity within the next few days then even first gas by April/May very likely will not happen ."
Again I agree entirely. July 1st is the drop-dead deadline (as per alarm clocks above). God help them if it turns out a sidetrack is needed after all to get sufficient volume out... when would that be done?
" It's either that or we are not told the whole truth... We need transparency!"
Absolutely.
Taverham. What is your job in the industry and years of experience if you don't mind me asking.
Howey, nice idea but if i were to get involved I think I would rather help a prospective purchaser with some due diligence simply because they are more likely to have the cash to pay me!
HITS, Is as if Angus have given up on getting the gas out and are concentrating on the sale. Is either that or we are not told the whole truth - are they waiting for EA & PP approval before really pushing ahead with it?
The longer the delay the bigger the need for additional funds becomes, also the bigger the loss of potential profits that could eliminate the need for another raise.
I believe that they are stalling waiting for the permits. This explains why the Civil works are not yet done. I don’t understand why equipment delivery keeps slipping though, they should know the delivery dates before they promise, is simple. Equipment is still being manufactured & tested long after is supposed to be on site!
In my opinion, unless they seriously increase site activity within the next few days then even first gas by April/May very likely will not happen .
We need transparency!
Yanis, and there was me picturing you charging in on your horse to sort things out!
HITS, I agree entirely with one of your posts! Although this is the second one following on from the snooker question!
Here's to an update on the bidders ASAP to get this moving again.
Yanis, quite right. Which is precisely why ANGS needs to update the market with the latest revised timescales, rather than leaving George's latest "first gas by mid-Feb" projections hanging out there to either mislead or be mocked.
The point about updates is that they're meant to be issued before previous projections get missed, not after.
Howey, there is no chance of mid-Feb gas, none, nada, zilch, zero.
The earliest we can now hope for 1st gas is April/May.
Taverham and Yanis, stop chatting on here and get yourselves to SFB to help out! I set you the challenge of mid-February first gas.
March or even April but whgich year - 2023? Optimstically looking at work left to do , end of May realistically thinking of the many possible hold ups July but they are just guesses time will tell.
"We all know Saltfleetby will come online whether next month March or even April."
Couple of things...
Yes, there's little to no doubt that Saltfleetby will come online, but I don't think that anybody outside of ANGS has a clear view of when. Presumably ANGS must have a better idea of when this might be - but it's not sharing. (Unbelievably, George still hasn't amended his most recent "first gas by mid-Feb" prediction - but given where things very visibly are, I don't think anyone believes that for a second).
However, the "when" is crucial for ANGS, as it always has been. As is the "how much gas" as well. As everyone must already know, there is a limited and slowly but inexorably closing window within which either a) Saltfleetby needs to be got to full production and equally importantly, to sufficient production, or b) ANGS needs to sell the field and/or the company.
There's time still, but George and crew need to get moving a lot more urgently down one route or the other.
the actual price is 1.035-1.12. so spread is not as bad as advertised. Its looks bad to discourage buying.
21% spread … is ridiculous!
Good advice and four likes … so, who bought today?
Looks like a good time to get back in. It bounced off a support according to charts and is consolidating around this price.
RT003- John Redwood should be prime minister imv- unfortunately the media would never let that happen!
Breathe....
We await progression on FSP
Now a timetable would be welcome for First Gas!
Lol…..Brockham is dead in the water as you well know Donk. The EA are mindful to grant permission to re inject but specifically EXCLUDED WATER FROM ELSEWHERE the only way to get the pressure in the reservoir up……and talking of permits they have been negotiating with the EA for permission since 2019!!!!!……..don’t hold your breath on Saltfleetby permission any time soon if that’s anything to go by.
Yesterday’s pictures hardly look like your “ man with a long lens” was telling the truth RT003 do they “fella”….snails pace more like it!!
Well said RT
Cant wait for the EA to permit water injection at Brockham...another slap in the face for wg et al.
Even more comical is those claiming that relevant permits wont be granted in light of the situation
There you go literally 2 minutes ago from John Redwood Tory MP
"Russia's control over the EU gas supply is a bad weakness for the West in the current dispute. Why doesn't the U.K. government get on with getting more of our gas out of the U.K. North Sea?"
Couldnt be more clear......
We all know Saltfleetby will come online whether next month March or even April. Even these odious paid for tree huggers know it only too well
We at this time cant be sure whose name though will be on the Company headed paper but I do know from absolute experience this current predicament with Russia should armoured vehicles cross into Ukraine will set the front pages of the media into a frenzy, in search of home grown companies to supply the Gas that we all require
People trade this stock at their absolute peril.....
