33, agreed, that's the important one for now. Bit concerned that people are stating all lines are open and running flat out, they're not. Blatant ramping. However, St Athen is producing well and hitting internal numbers already.
When was that documentary made? Most Gaydon productives are still on furlough.
All production lines and Sites are Producing cars Flat Out
The production line is Running at 100%
The Demand for Aston Martin cars is There and was Always there
The Stock is moving up Will continue to move up
My targets are 60p 90p and 150p
You Shorters are so Stubborn you never listen
Close your positions and go Long
The Smart money is with the JamesBond Car maker
Apart from the leather sewing it's pretty much the way all modern cars are built.
I’m not impressed with the “Built in Wales” badge in the DBX. Foreign buyers wouldn’t be impressed with “Built in Sussex” on a Rolls. What’s wrong with “Built in Great Britain”?
The cows do all live in Scandinavia because they use wooden fencing over there and that leads to a lot less scarring ... the detail is there .. just a rubbish edit. Trust me .. the sewing machinist train longer than leather cover fitting .. Leather selection and cutting is the skilled job.
Point taken but I want both. I would have spent more time on the seamstresses and how long they train (they mentioned the leather fitters take 4years to train) than how many minutes each station is allocated
Took Both the RP boys To podium @33/1
Pant are I. If you want fantasy buy Walt Disney ....if you want good leather buy DFS if you want a beautiful car buy AML .I thought the program said it all, slick professional, and above all a pride in the product from every employee. The attention to detail is incredible, they even use the same leather seamstress for the whole interior of every car because they all stitch slightly differently .Says it all really!Quality throughout Aml is ready and waiting to head north!
33 wait for RP to podium ... better still baby boy to win ... or even get fastest lap at some point
Did you get a price anywhere?
The C4 programme didn’t float my boat...
Too much time & motion and not enough fantasy and selling the exclusive dream.
For Example I wanted them to say something like that there is only one breed of cows where they source their leather... each cow must be fed only on acorns from a special forest for 6 years. They must live in the Swiss alps above 3000 metre so that the rarified air keeps their hide soft.
Only one in in a hundred hides are selected. They are taken to the last remaining specialist tanners in Italy where they are seasoned for 36 months. From there they go to France to be dyed for 6 months then to the last remaining specialist leather finishers in Yorkshire From each hide only two pieces of leather are cut Etc etc
That’s what I want for my £1/4 M not it takes 24 minutes to fit the electrics.
I’ll watch the Maserati episode and compare
The documentary was fantastic filled me with a bit more confidence in my investment in AML, been a tough few weeks watching the share price plummet but very much looking forward to it going north in the coming weeks / months
It was an interesting documentary....
Turnover was £997m last year Vectura!
Adding the DBX we need to be looking for £1.5/£2bn turnover shortly..
