BumbleB..... Actually, on second thoughts I think he labelled himself SpeculitiveSipp rather than Speculator but posted mostly on the iii board at that time.
What's happened to your spelling?
BumbleB. No I've always used Bmac and I remember you well. You are long timer here and a well respected posters on this board. Do you remember FuelCell form way back? He later started his own thread on ADVFM? And another well respected poster called Speculator who actually worked in this industry?
Bmac you have been rumbled, sorry BumbleBd.
Or were you posting on AFC under another name?
Hi Bmac. I have been here for a long time and I don’t remember your name, so I did what I always do when new characters with a lot to say turn up on this board. Not a word from you until this month, although you have posted on others since 2009, often with a long series of posts on individual companies. Your memory seems to be a tad suspect. If you are going to try to bash the stock at least come up with a plausible story, and correct figures, as others have pointed out.
I posted regularly on this board back then and on the FuelCell thread on iii as well. You'd be too young to remember all that.
Hi TwoCents,
Agree with your post, but I think calling him an artist is stretching it a bit far, a BS er yes but too obvious to be an artist at it.
Artist denotes at least a modicum of talent.
Regards Rooky.
It does seem suspicious behavior to tell us all that you sold out 9 years ago, and then turn up on this board after so long to talk it down. You have been a member here since 2009 but you've never posted on the AFC board till now. I'm calling you out as a BS artist and opportunist that's trying to get into this stock by first talking it down.
Dwelling in the past is irrelevant...
And clearly a risk...
An American stock...Lumentum. LITE
All the best. Bmac
Bmac.....i could be doing with a couple of shares that are nailed on and will give a massive return in the very near future.
Who do you suggest?
All depends how long you want to use for your DCF forecast and the discount % you choose. With a judicial selection of parameters you can produce whatever favourable outcomes you wish.
Look, this is about the here and now. Some people have already been hanging in here for 10 years. What I'm saying is that at this point in time an sp of 10p is not justifiable. If you want to pay this price and wait another 2years in hope then that's just fine. Good luck to you.
Valuing non cash flow generating companies is always nine parts guesswork, one part luck.
BMac you might want to have a look at doing a DCF analysis, which would be more appropriate for a firm like AFC.
Bananaman, I agree that 10p is a steal if AFC are able to deliver even a fraction of the potential that is being talked about in the news releases and AB's interview. Whether it will ever reach 82p again, especially with past (and possible future but sensible) dilution, is anyone's guess but even that would just take AFC to the same sort of MCap as some of its competitors who seem further away than AFC from the "holy grail"! Good luck to you and all other LTHs.
Bmac, if you’re sharp enough you’ll notice ABs interview was yesterday.
On ignore, hopefully the other good posters here do the same and we stop replying to your nonsense!
Gadams
BMac, Value Ceres power then. No profit there either as far as I believe.
Fuelcellinvestor, I have been invested for 9 years. I had a sale open on y trading account for 82p when it reached a peak. I did not take it. I have remained invested and I am also heavily involved with the hydrogen economy in the UK and the EU. I have seen the potential if this product for a long time and I truly believe that with the additional time and research they have an incredible product that is by far superior in terms of cost and efficiency of anything else on the market. I am not sure how this can have a price put on it but feel 10p or £40m is a steal.
I am a long term holder with a long term view, not interested in trading. This is not far from my average price but have no intention of breaking even or making a small profit on this.
I’m not talking about revenues I’m referring to clear profit of £0.446 Million which reflects an earnings of just 0.1p per share, (100th part of todays share price of 10p) and I've awarded a very chunky forward P/E of 100. It is not a time to be buying or adding. AFC is a very long way from this sort of income and todays sp of 10p is totally unjustifiable.
I see that the bashers are out in force, with semi-plausible back stories but ludicrous figures. If AFC continues to deliver what AB has promised/suggested then the share will gradually become a proper investment, with less volatility and steady growth, rather than a play toy for rampers/bashers who generally have very obvious alternative agendas.
We have lots of other fuel cell companies to compare the current MCap to and the bashers are reduced to the "trust me, it is not worth it" line - take your pick and GLAH!
banaman…. Right now an sp of 10p is not justifiable and I remain convinced that there will be another cash call and further dilution in the New year. Listen to the interview below. It’s clear that meaningful earnings are still some years away. Buying in at this point is just provoking dead money.
I sold out of AFC 9 years ago on the realisation that commercialisation was further away than I had initially anticipated. AFC has come a long (slow) way since then and the sp is now a fraction of what it was back then. Personally I think the renewed exuberance in the share price is somewhat ahead of reality. If you are sharp enough you can see from today’s Adam Bond interview that this is still a jam tomorrow offering and whereas Mr Bond claims that there is a lot of interest in AFC’s developments, that has been the story for the past ten years. The plain fact is….they haven’t secured a single order and AFC is still some years away from that and meaningful revenues. From the interview it’s clear that even the EV Charger revenues may take several years before becoming meaningful for AFC. People need to pull back a little on this one. In the past ten years there has been a number of times when company news releases have resulted in a pumped up share price only to find a Cash Call was waiting in the background and more dilution. From Adam Bonds final remarks in the (below) interview I think that Cash Call will come soon in the new year.

Athansius, And Alkamem is just one of their products.
Worth pointing this out to some of the newer posters!
And the figures you now suggest BMac are not at all challenging for a disruptive technology. Alkamem alone could do 20 times that easily with just a small proportion of the current market.
BMac, probably not long in reality.
The value of the business currently does not come from its turnover or profit but from the IP of its 'products'. It is this that has taken time to develop and the reason for excitement is that it is now a commercial product.
Comparing to other less efficient more expensive fuel cell products is a waste of time.
Hahaha...bmac just buy some shares ffs!
