I invested here more than five years ago because of Basinski's reputation and the fact that he had been heavily involved in the success of Eagle Ford. He reckoned there are 3.6bn barrels of oil to be had from the Icewind HRZ. When we first tried to crack it, after his sad passing, it didn't work. DW in the meantime secured leases with potential conventional oil, but so far that hasn't been fruitful. But the shale has gone nowhere and that is is still a possibility. It' s not just Basinski who said the HRZ contained oil, an independent company also said so, albeit at a lower figure. These are facts..the issue is how to get it out. So how is mentioning the shale a ramp?
Le Major ~~~ et All :
In the context of a Huge Gas deposit :
As I understand developments over the last few years , despite being the worlds no 1 producer the USA actually IMPORTS oil , specifically from the Middle East because their oils are `Light Sweet` . USA Crude is heavy oil .
Now , in addition to `flowing the tubes` :
https://youtu.be/g5N0PoRZdnQ
17:54, when it gets to 24% it will be time for a cash raise at a 20% discount.
So it's started, the HRZ ramp.
Beggers belief.
Exactly. PMO is under the cosh for too much debt, but with them leaving the arena (whatever their reason) we have hot Light Oil in vapour form (what we craved from the HRZ in Icewine 2). This light oil is also craved by the owners of TAPs (BP/Exxon) as it thins out the heavy oil and stops the tube clogging. Not bad news at all - we still need to know how much we have, so the analysis cannot come fast enough. Only 4% rise today, when it gets to 24% we will know other PI's are starting to get the picture too.
Reaper007: The only reason the SP tanked is because oil didn’t gush out of the well. Although these expectations were not satisfied, the results are really very good so everyone needs to cheer up because not only have we found oil, albeit the very light variety, but we have also gained masses of data to further derisk the conventional and HRZ. Rome was not built in a day.
Volume is above average as investors are getting more shares today for the same amount of money a few days ago.
# Trades 432
Vol. Sold 80,638,219
Sold Value £266.11k
Vol. Bought 140,702,348
Bought Value £464.32k

Nice consolidation forming around 0.33 which should be the new support. I think we'll see some recovery tomorrow early morning -after the AGM
GLA

True :) I missed that :)
So ... anyone got some $$$ ? :) a few 100k will work :) I made my average down yesterday but have to wait till payday to add more.
Dry yer eyes
Manform :
* c. 7 Billion shares in issue ?
And here we are - 0.334 -0.001 -0.39%
And we should see green by the end of today (I hope).
I read your post #Reaper007 and I can say it is quite positive.
Just wondering why SP is still 0,334p instead 0,35+ already.
But I am patient. There is no way I will close positions - I WILL FIGHT !! Hope all here will do the same !
Well Jiddy, I called out post after post. Facts are this is not an investors share, it’s a gamblers! The numbers, knowledge and research shows that even if a lot of oil was found your at around $40 per barrel extraction (inc loaded costs). It’s a classic Zombie share and all investors are destined to get cleaned out once it delists as it inevitably will. Dead money, get what little you can and put it in Genel or similar mega cash rich share at these bargain prices.
I'm curious as to how the SP manages to remain so stable given the volume going through. Any views?
~~~ " 88E only had 30 percent interest in Charlie-1, "~~~
* In fact cost to 88e was $ ZERO .
* I believe 88e paid c. $ 1.5 M to poke the HRZ .( Results in June .)
* We now have 100% of Charlie .(To be confirmed.)
*Huge Gas reservoir discovered . ( Details to be confirmed .)
*Much derided Feb CR means balance sheet intact .( Detail tonight ?)
GL.
It's obvious now that's this has settled and ready to move northwards,
So many buys gone through today it will shortly.
Just fill big stoplosses from yesterday.
Considering 88E only had 30 percent interest in Charlie-1, the 75 percent drop yesterday is two thirds overdone.
SP has to recover to 0.6 at least I would of thought.
12.39 ; " The Gassiest place on earth! "
LoL ! Very witty .
Which might not be all hot air , it might just become a reality .
Agreed Jiddy - a new sense of direction. He has plenty of positives to forge into a vision for our next steps. I wonder whether any of the possibilities are imminent? All best to you in this and fantastic work here, as ever.
I nice summary Reaper, we just need to see the man step up to the plate!
So, we now have a potentially commercial resource - from RNS: ' 88 Energy confirms that the Charlie-1 appraisal well has proved the presence of mobile hydrocarbons, in the form of condensate gas, in the Torok Formation in both the Middle Stellar and Lower Stellar
targets. Hydrocarbons were successfully recovered to surface from both targets.'
In addition, we have our third set of data to unlock the HRZ , and we got it for FREE - from RNS: 'Detailed logs and sidewall cores were also acquired in the HRZ formation, which will now be analysed over the coming months. The HRZ remains a viable target and options and options to commercialise this potentially large resource continue to be pursued.' Now how large? A lot of water under the bridge since last Prospective Resources HRZ (more acres, more shares, some HRZ too mature, etc, etc); however, Feb 2018 update states 1.4-3.6 BN boe [p.4]!!!!
RNS is also upbeat on Lima: ' potential for higher
quality reservoir at a different location. Excellent Vertical Seismic Profile (“VSP”) data was obtained in the well, which will now be used in conjunction with other log data and the existing 3D seismic, to
remap these targets. Sidewall core analysis will also assist with determining where improved reservoir is likely to exist.'
We also have Yukon! :-)) :-)) VGLA
Alaska.’s North Slope....The Gassiest place on earth!
We keep carrying on Jiddy, we can get angry and sell at a big loss or put on the tin hat, put up with the rain and stay in our tranches.
Although frustrated, I choose to stay and fight.
Many thanks for the update shaa!
There are so many "I told you so" brigade - they will be gone by the end of the week.
Although we are down, the journey of a thousand steps starts with one step.
