Thanks Latics for a full reply.
Maybe you should think a bit more before making some of your postings (e.g.: 'Bet your Mother loves you though'), as she recently died.
Agreed there is a dearth of information, but I'd rather that than the drip-drip-drip of info, from Tony Durrant, none of which came to fruition.
When Navitas announces anything, they really mean it.
And in any case, instead of spending your whole life on this BB insulting Sam (who I believe is doing OK at the moment) and us, if you spent a bit more researching (as Mogger and others do), you'll find that there's quite a bit of positive information out there, if you're prepared to make an effort, but I suppose it's easier and more fun, being negative here?
@Ovets - let me deal with your comments as they appear. Yes I agree we're all supposed to want the same outcome but a number of us are just so frustrated with RKH lack of information and now it seems: Navitas; and their rate of progress.
You posted that you agree with CTS about Navitas probably waiting until after the Argentine election, which is only a week away, but NOT 'two or three weeks'.
In fact what CTS actually posted was : ‘let's wait till a coupl'a weeks after Argentina election’.
‘If you can't wait less than a week, there's something wrong with you.’ See above.
‘I reckon Navitas will only announce something worthwhile when they're good and ready and not before. ‘
… You may well be right that they, like RKH, refuse to micro-manage the Project but It may also mean NO Progress has been made. I actually think that progress IS being made but my point is: we just aren’t being told.
‘In the mean time, do you have any reason to believe Italy will meet any of the very stringent reasons for an annulment? ‘
None at all except my understanding, gained on a business visit to Italy during the UK Parlimentary expenses scandal, that many Italians believed it was a pre-requisite to be the wrong side of the law in order to qualify as a politician. Until we see the money, the market does’t believe it exists.
‘What upsets you about the astonishing magnitude of the OM award, growing by £1.25 to £1.5 / month? ‘
Absolutely nothing, wish my ISAs performed like that.
‘What have you heard that indicates Navitas, FIG, or anyone else involved is starting to get cold feet about the SL project? ‘
Again nothing at all except the lack of information.
‘You just seem to enjoy being negative for the fun of it, which is really strange now that you have admitted to taking up your warrants. Doesn't make sense.’
Again, it doesn’t make sense to you because you are unwilling to accept any other possibilities. I don’t post to be negative but to illustrate the poor information flow.
@ovets … anything interesting to add or just complaining that others don’t agree with you ?
Bet your Mother loves you though
" MArk my words some sory of spanner in the works is coming"
Better tell Latics about this, as he's just exercised his warrants, thereby handing his money to Sam and the RKH Board to squander (or at least, that's what he keeps telling us).
P.S. did you mean 'sorry', or 'story'?
"Zero progress in 12 m is worrying"
Zero progress in achieving a monster OM award?
Zero progress in the accruing interest on that award?
Zero progress in fighting the annulment challenge by RoI?
Zero progress by the Navitas team in turning the PMO plans into a workable project and preparing for FID/sanction?
Zero progress in FIG's preparations for SL?
Or is it zero progress in the Godders and Decidedleaverage's joint investment account valuation, that you're referring to?
Yes. A couple of years of 10% inflation affects the value does it not ? The old 12p is now 10p in real terms.
Is that a serious question?
33% include inflation ?
But up 33% YTD. Your point being?
Lower than a year ago. Wow

Hi Ovets
How about over to others?-Maybe Sovereign Wealth Funds can see a bargain !!
Take your pick Saudis- Norwegian-Libyan -lol
"II's arent buyuing PI's arent buying. Someone needs oto" - "¿Qué?"
and, who's Oto?
Do agree that the current Middle East situation has the potential for further delays perhaps more so than the Argentine elections.
I shall reply to your post, Ovets, separately.
What going on, as the song goes who knows .Anyway just sat down to my dinner ,sorry lunch to you chaps.
Cant see why you expected much more never look on the bright side you might be disappointed.
Godders99, Very true..imho
Only st u pi d people like you who keeps holding without any good reasons....IMHO-DYOR
DL, you say "but if that is a decade away it doesn't help us".
Navitas were announced as operator only a year ago and they seem to be making dramatic progress, so where did your 'decade' idea come from?
As for "castigating negative posters", I have repeatedly stated that we need different opinions and disagreement for there to be meaningful discussion.
What we don't need is relentless, unsubstantiated negative comments like these:
So what are we paying Sam for ?
with Sam at our helm , I despair.
What galls me is Sam sits there in his country house living the life of luxury. I sense he himself doesn’t believe RKH will be a success.
Wait, so Sam is being paid for doing nothing?
Sam has been milking this since then … others have to earn a living.
Move aside Sam and let someone else try
Sam has gone into his cave and the likelihood of further fundraising seems to be growing.
Absolutely nothing happening same as previous 10 years including the fact that Sam collects his salary every month as Schitizen well knows.
We know that Sam isn’t going to tell us the time of day let alone how things are progressing ?
Neither has moved the SP yet Sam still gets paid handsomely. Imagine what he will be awarded at FID.
Mr Market wouldn’t Sam to organise a p**s in a brewery.
Can’t see Sam EVER getting this off the ground
Thanks Boboil, much appreciated.
Argentina economy is in a mess. Most people are on the poverty line. . inflation is currently running at. 124.40 %. pa bank interest is 118%. They. havent got any money and no one will invest with such risks . They can huff and puff but thats about it. More concerning to us should be the mess thats going on in Ukraine and the middle east , lets hope somehow that gets resolved . GLA
The elections in Argentina are merely a sideshow and will have no impact on what Navitas are currently doing or will do in the future. If they do influence the timing of any announcements (which I personally doubt), then it would only be by a matter of weeks so it doesn’t matter anyway.
Meanwhile the Navitas Falklands office continues to grow.
It’s says that Navitas have a new Office Manager
Probably as Mogger says been brought in to manage a growing UK outfit
Appears to have left a decent job with Israeli foreign ministry to join Navitas as well

Only one week till the Argentine elections but that is only the first round if there is no clear winner then I'm afraid it is more waiting. Then when you think you have waited long enough sit back down and wait some more as I am sure something else will pop along to delay us.!!
To win in the first round, a candidate has to obtain more than 45% of votes or more than 40% with a more than 10-point lead over the second-place candidate. If no candidate reaches this threshold, the top two will continue to a runoff on Sunday, Nov. 19
What does it say Mogger, please? I'm not in LinkedIn.
The issue I have with you ovets is the the logic that management will announce something when that are good and ready is correct but if that is a decade away it doesn't help us. You were saying exactly the same thing five years ago. Castigating negative posters was entirely wrong at the time and yet you have continued with impunity. For the record cautioning people on calling fellow posters morons is a bit rich or do you deem me to be sub human?
