A public share notification must be made when the net short positions of shares reach 0.5% of the issued share capital of the company concerned, and again at each 0.1% change above 0.5%.
This change relates to both a 0.1% increase and decrease of the position (including each time the position drops below 0.5%).
There is NO timeline that has slipped, as Ajilimon has already posted, we are ONLY in January, they state first QUARTER, plenty of time.
As for the SP, well many punters seen sheite like this before, and I have learnt not to let my head control the button, I use my gut feeling on what we know. As ever the head always wants to psychologically cut & run when a stock slips like this for unknown reasons, and all too often when you react and look back a week or three later it has magically bounced back.
Pedigree, probably because the timeline has slipped (again) Chariot are not the best with timelines🤷♂️
Surely these things are booked more than 9 weeks in advance so why not tell us when.
"They raised money to do this Q1 drilling. Why not tell us when it is going to happen?"
They have told us - "Q1".
There are 9 weeks left in Q1. It may slip depending on rig availability. But it will be drilled when it's drilled.
By then the meek will be long gone and the brave will inherit the earth.
They raised money to do this Q1 drilling. Why not tell us when it is going to happen?
Tbh i think there must be some intervention, only 2% down on 7m trades atm, after all the other sales that's holding up unexpectedly well.
If the company knew of delays to the q1 drill date imo it would need to be rns'd so until that news I'm assuming it's still happening....of course chariot have a terrible history of doing anything on time and you would imagine rig news would be imminent if q1 is to be believed
Surely the rig is booked. I thoughth they were drilling in Q1. Would be good to get some clarity soon as it is painful watching this continue to drop.
Goon----at some stage Char will announce they have a RIG and are getting ready to drill----that will be the "buy" signal---but not before.

-As for GCM--- xxxxxx
II's not even looking our way Redeye.
What with what's happened at GCM AIM is just a sh@t show.
Got to hand it to them, whoever started this rolling short has done a terrific job-----got pi's by the throat, with no intervention from II's.
Said it before aim is the Wild West if you believe the char story hold or even accumulate if that’s your plan if not move on for your own sanity and to be frank the rest of the boards
Could someone add me to the telegram group please
@lloydystoke
Cheers
Where will it stop. 6p, 5p, 4p.............
Almost impossible to prove spoofing as there's no execution trail to follow.
Anyone know what the book value of this is once the first payment from Enog comes in?
Thanks
It's also illegal, but when has that ever stopped this and other illegal activity happening, esp on AIM.
Anyone else notice the 400k sell spoofing that's been happening on level 2?
Big sells on the order book that magically vanish against matching buy orders which then reappear at an even lower price once the price drops a little to fill.
It's called spoofing and the intent is to frighten the buy side.
Probably because the strategy is programmed to not raise the offer (yet) or to not add to the offer on any rise (no matter how small) until a certain quota is achieved. Read the article, it's amazing the amount of variables that can be programmed into an automated trading system program.
"Traders and investors can turn precise entry, exit, and money management rules into automated trading systems that allow computers to execute and monitor the trades. One of the biggest attractions of strategy automation is that it can take some of the emotion out of trading since trades are automatically placed once certain criteria are met."
"Once the rules have been established, the computer can monitor the markets to find buy or sell opportunities based on the trading strategy's specifications. Depending on the specific rules, as soon as a trade is entered, any orders for protective stop losses, trailing stops and profit targets will be automatically generated."
A trading strategy can take weeks or months to achieve an objective and multiple objectives can be deployed over a number of years.
Except the buying isn't raising the offer in the same way that the sells are lowering it.
It just looks like any buying is not making any difference to the decline.
Has to be something unknown to us minnow PIs.
There is indeed buying. I bought ~ 11K's worth yesterday in my SIPP.
There's buying.
Except no one is buying them back the next day!
With a deal that needs time to play out, traders and impatient investors were always going to leave. Twas a good time do deploy the algo...
Selling shares on a low volume day and causing a bit of panic only to buy double that number back the next day is the easiest thing in the world for a computer program to do. Set & forget. No emotion, it just executes upon the strategy.
