Blinded by quality deposits in apparent tier 1 jurisdictions only to be fecked about by the Swedish authorities and our own board. Hindsight eh..
Still think we could do well, but not by the expertise of the BOD, more the quality of deposit could carry us for a few more spikes yet.
Taken us too long SJ, because for years we were obviously stunned from the sheer disbelief of what was actually occurring. Lol.
We've sussed it Eric, 12 years too late but we got there... 😅
I wish I could have started years ago. Lol.
I’m interested to see who we do get though. As usual, probably never heard of them, lol, but that’s all part of the intentional illusion of mystique, purposefully created in order to continually string us along. ðŸ«
OK. When can you start?
First thing I’d do is fire the BoD members. All of them, having cunningly pretended to only be interested in the role for the purposes of massaging my own ego and for the prestige. Clever eh? Disguised as one of them, but really only totally focused on turning the company around for existing shareholders.
Fancy that..
A human being, yes...we're pretty much all the same. Lol.
Possibly Sooz. A nice ego trip for a wrongly appointed duffer who thrives only on the perceived prestige attached to the role. Lol.
Hi Suz, BOTX will start their gold mine in April. ;)
https://www.botniaexploration.com/
Maybe....it's because Kallak is the first mine in 12+ years to get the go ahead from The Government?
See you next year then Oaktree, when we are closing in on production. Lol.
Spot on re the Options, particularly if you have not traded the ups and downs. Question is, how can we really attract a fantastic manager to run the Kal project, if we can’t even guarantee raising funds above our nominal value price? Why would anyone with superb credentials be associated with us? The assets are great, but…..
Only a thought. I wonder what guarantees have been given to secure this world-beater?! Hmm 🤔
I've heard that before, Oaktree...I expect you'll be back in May and I hope you'll be dancing. Cheerio for a bit then.
I love these translations:. From Placera Forum:
"Don't you know that they have sped up the processes, at all levels, regarding mining establishments? It doesn't take years anymore. Sorry the pessimist, but you are out cycling."
Thanks Bailan.
To be honest, with BEM’s track record, it’s never been worth taking up options, the sp has always dipped significantly below any discounted purchase price within less than 6 months of issue…that ought to raise flags in anyone’s world!!!
I think the main reason for the continued demise of the sp is that even the swedes are seeing through the illusion of ‘process’. Two years ago the concession news after nearly a decade saw the leap that evaporated into a spike as we all realised that the appeal could have more extensions than a packet of viagra…
…we’re all fixated on the appeal finally opening things up, as we were with the concession. The reality is that every single permit, of which there are countless, will be subject to the same ping pong of appeal, counter appeal and extension that this stands no chance of turning into an actual mine…
…the fact that UNESCO were allowed to delay this for a couple of years suggests that Dave in Derby will also be allowed to submit an appeal based on his views of a rare newt…
…seriously people, 80% of the shareholders in their homeland have given up and realised that this was never getting through…Ibjj has been right from the start. I took a year off from even visiting this board and the sp has tanked even further in that time.
My significant savings put into this share since 2009 are laughable. As much as I’ve tried to average down, the problem is that the sp finds new lows…
I’m off for another 12 months in which I’m confident the sp won’t change a great deal. As Ibjj says, there are no excuses for a vacant plot in Finland and FA from Kosovo…as for Kallak, there is not the appetite nor the legal will to push this past the tree huggers, see you all in 2025…
Lb, fair enough the points you’ve made. I suppose that we shareholders, or some of us anyway, see Ed, Kurt and Clive before them as our representatives and who really should be acting in the interests of all shareholders. Being that it’s our company. But we also know that performances have been shocking, whether by design or otherwise, and so are left to lick our wounds over and over again, because so far the people representing us have failed to sufficiently raise and sustain the share price when it really matters. Clive being the most successful in a bull market, prior to the then almost complete sp collapse. It’s been a case of jobs for the boys and money for old rope. With the share split, anyone who takes up the offer wants their bumps feeling. Might as well buy as usual on the open market, once it remains tanked until the Court appeal is dispensed with. Banking on there being sensational hidden news is a mistake, in my opinion.
eric,
why should ed look after investors like you by raising money at an acceptable price to you?
his only concern is how much cash he can raise. how many shares that translates to is completely irrelevant to him.
please understand that cash is there to keep his salary and benefits in place. nothing else.
kicking the can down the road is just fine with him.
kallak: going nowhere anytime soon
finland: this plot of land is a mirage. no factory 2 years after reserving the plot? can't blame a ******ed government here, eh?
kosovo: just a joke. £3.25m of your money squandered on a few drones just because the chaps on the board were old pals of budge's and they mugged him royally.
a fraudulent circus for years and long termers are still wringing their hands about how unfairly they've been treated
SJ, yes, agreed, we simply should not be placed in this position by the management team. Ed has had six months in his post, time to sort this, and financing at healthy levels should have also been a crucial consideration during the ‘strategic review’ before and since Ed joined us. Yet it seems to have been left to chance, when we need the money again.
As you say, only the chosen will benefit.
Disgusting really.
Rumours are it's CSP... 😅
And there's another question to contemplate, Doublingup's reminded me...who is it, whose the new Project Director going to be? An interesting mystery to be revealed on or before May Day.
But we'll get over it. 😊
That’s true Suzy :)
Hello Sj...No the news from the Government wasn't at all unexpected but it was more positive if you can have more positive than the original, long delayed wishy washy sort of yes we need mines and this is a good one but the Sami wont like it. And Magdalena Anderson has also recently spoken in favour of it at the Jokkmokk Market. We think time is running out for the Appeal process...and then we get spooked by news of that further extension because we don't know what it means. And we're feeling unloved and sold down the river.
After all it’s the same underwriters as the last fundraise. I would if I was them to churn my old placing shares out at c2p to then underwrite the next placing at under 1p. I
Being cynical that rise was very well timed just before the fundraise. Some would think it was orchestrated to let the future ‘investors/underwriters’ out at a higher price to then get the underwritten shares at under 1p. I don’t think the news from the government was that unexpected was it?? I’m probably way off the mark, but this is AIM.
1. Why would the sp rise to 2p when we know what's planned?
2. Why did the sp rise so suddenly and why did it then fall so fast?
The answer to both so far as I can see is that we don't know. The sp rose in response to The Government's opinion submitted to the Court. Then out of the blue we got the news that an extension had been granted to The Nature Conservation Society for a submission from them which we didn't expect. That extended period is only up until 23 Feb. but it just seemed to spook pi's and it happened before the announcement of the fundraise, which we expected. And that hasn't gone down well because of the reverse split; supposed not to affect the value of our holding or dilute it but that remains to be seen.
Just saying for the sake of discussion it's not my intention to dispute with anybody. Anything can happen in the next few weeks/months.
