I am Suz, Then horses would be wishes. π
Save yourself the trouble, Wodman...just try using your own.
Sorry Suz, forget it, I was just trying to make you use your gray cells.
..beggars would ride is what my Grandmother used to say. I can look at the stars any time time, no fee...there they are! β¨β¨ When I plant something I don't wish it would grow I take some trouble to give it the conditions it needs. Why do you go fishing, why are you interested in the Mariana Trench, why do you post on this bb?
Suz, imagine yourself carrying a super duper telescope, and that you only by the power of your mind instantly could travel one light year to a faraway planet! :)
Zoming in your garden with that super duper telescope from that faraway distance you could then see yourself planting all those tulips you mentioned while looking at the stars wishing you were there.
But what if you waited a year on that planet, waited to see yourself wishing for the stars and to leave earth to where you are now!!!
Whom would then come to see you? ;)
Eric...How can January seem such a long time ago? Just been reading about the birth of a baby supernova...looking at the stars sort of puts everything in perspective. "Eleven days after the explosion, the shock had traveled out to 96 AU and was catching up with stellar wind released a decade before the star exploded."

Afty Eric. Thanks...that's good!
Sooz, yes, that info was in our Kallak project update on 22 January 2024. Itβs right at the bottom of the RNS info. Hereβs what it said:
βThe Company understands that the Court will consider the Government's submission alongside that of the applicant and is expected to reach a decision during the first half of 2024. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.β
Toph...In theory this Appeal business has got nothing to do with us, it's the business of the Court and the Government. Andy has informed us that the procedure is being investigated not the government's decision, were there any irregularities in it, all nine years of it. Andy lives in Norway and he's closer to the ground then we are in the UK, so to speak.
Can't remember where we got the information from that the Appeal is expected to be concluded by by the first half of 2024. Was it in an RNS?
The request we recently heard about should read 'for' not from...the request from The Nature Conservation Agency. Not sure where I got it from, that it was for the SSNC, but it doesn't really matter who it was from, does it. And so the Saga continues winding about in it's surreal sort of way. The thing that keeps us in, of course, is the treasure, the Iron. π
Morniing Toph...The answer is we don't know. We've recently learned that the Appeal is expected to be concluded by the first half of 2024, which is a pretty big window. An appeal according to the Book is supposed to be lodged within three months of the Decision the Appellant is appealing against. In this case the Sami were allowed extensions until early December 22, 9 months. That was all we knew. Then recently we learn that The Government has been given an extension to submit a response (presumably to a request for some information) which was early January and they asked for an extension and were given to 23 February but they replied on 15 February. The extension we recently heard about from The Nature Conservation Agency (I believe) we know nothing about. I would guess that all 'Actors' have been asked for a response to some questions. Hope that helps.
Morning all, from posts below...looking for a bit of education :)
What are we expecting to occur on the 27th of Feb (delayed from the 23rd)? I am assuming related to the court date?
Thanks
Thanks Honeybun. π

Andy, thanks for the info. Only a couple of days extra then, not including this weekend. Itβs good if thatβs all it is, and because itβs only a very short extension, it is difficult to see the timescale being extended yet again.
Andy...Well, at least it's 27 Feb 2024, for a minute I thought it was 2027. So... they couldn't get it together then and after all these years. Lol. Wonder if there'll be another and another....?
Same lady lawyer who wanted the extension for the 23rd.
... February 27.
