What would it be worth?
I don’t want to quarrel either. Maybe there will be a sale lined up already for Vardar, or why would we need to get the 100% when we already have a controlling interest? But see below. Lol.
Pocko, you’ve made some great points today, unfortunately going private would be easier if we own all projects, barring the sale of any or all of the three project companies.
Yes, Bowie is supposed to be our representative, but based on this proposed capital raise alone, I’m sure that Rod, Jane and Freddy could have done it better.
Reading it didn't change my opinion of the situation and I'm not duplicitous. It wasn't the RNS I was posting an opinion on it was a response to the opinions already posted and not a disagreement, we're in a bad place today that can't be denied. I hope it will get better. and I don't care tuppence what you think of me...only a very sad person "baits" someone.
Suzy,
You are muddle headed at the best of times, and duplicitous to boot.
Eric is spot on. How on Earth you can you post an opinion on an RNS you have not read.
Idiotic.
The suggestion that the UK subscription is preferential to shareholders just doesn't wash...it would only be preferential if demand were to exceed supply and that wasn't the case last time. It looks at the moment as though it's every man for himself and you might as well buy them with much less trouble on the open market.
Got in a bit of a tangle there...meaning there might be something in the darkness that we can't currently see in the light?
Any my cynicism is borne out of the very cynical way private investors have been treated to date by the company.
Bowie works for us, not the other way round. Though the arrogance he's demonstrated so far, suggests he thinks otherwise.
Eric...there's no need for us to quarrel. All the genuine holders on here want the same thing, we have some robust exchanges sometimes, it's only natural, it's who we are. And I think we're in the dark about some things which is very frustrating...of course I hope we're in the dark because the light isn't looking too good. Lol.
The game is quite simple EricDraven..
The company gets taken private.
Why would anyone pay top dollar for an asset when they don't need to?
BOD are often complicit, and benefit from positions in the new company.
Darren...I think the court ruling will be game changing, it's been estimated in an RNS (Jan 24) that it will come in the first half of 2024. The time the appeal has taken from the Government's endorsement in March 22 has brought us to this point, unfortunately. I'm ever the optimist...but take care, and check out my previous.
Suzy, then I’m wrong and you are disappointed. I’ll leave it at that, but I was going off how you usually respond.
I don’t believe it’s easy to fathom what’s going on here. We have this world-class asset, the largest unmined, top quality deposit of iron in Europe, we’ve been granted a mining concession when it hadn’t happened previously for any new potential mine or related conpany for 12 years or more, and yet we are left raising money at 0.61p, 39% below our nominal value amount of a penny. So how does one equate to the other? What aren’t we being told?
Something absolutely stinks about it all Suzy, in my opinion that is.
I haven't looked at this share for a year or so, and I'm just catching up on the RNS's.
So the current fund raise will last us 1 year.
As I understand it - in that year we can expect a court ruling, and hopefully PFS and EIA during the third quarter of 2024.
Does anyone think any of those events are likely to impact price?
Will any of them be enough for a 3rd party to be interested for a joint venture?
Or do we just drag on to another fund raise next year so we can complete a DFS in 2025.
And the money spent on Vardar to date, would have negated the last fundraise.
Quite frankly, Budge took his role in M&A to the extreme, given our very limited funds
Jus a thought.
Through no fault of the company...
But the deadline was February 2023... Extended to September 2023, and then followed by a number of extensions to the 27th February 2024. Standby for some other spurious reason to grant an extension...
Fortunately graphene does have several uses other than just batteries. Fully agree about Vardar, but a least they can offload this now as the minority shareholders are only interested in BEM's SP performance. I hope that's what will happen. Any money raised from a sale would be better spent in Finland or Sweden.
And I agree with Pocko that the next six months will be make or break as a PLC. Did anyone know how long this appeal was going to take?
Except they've issued another 52 million shares to give to the Vardar guys. Small beer compared to the extra billion they are issuing, albeit as A shares to operate in parallel to the existing shares.
And who would want Vardar?
A competent person can apply for exploration permits... Vardar has hardly corned the market.
£3.35m plus 52m shares for a couple of Nissan Patrols, portacabins and a drone.
No, Eric...you're quite wrong about that, I wasn't trying to stir the pot, I was joining in, it would be odd if I didn't. And having read all the posts, reading the RNS didn't illuminate me much, a lot of it is too technical. How about this from the earlier RNS:
The Capital Reorganisation will not of itself affect the value of the shares held by Shareholders. After the Capital Reorganisation there will be the same number of New Ordinary Shares in issue as there are existing Ordinary Shares and therefore Shareholders will not be diluted (other than as a result of the Capital Raise).
We are all invested in this because we believed in it I assume.
Finland should be the cheapest and easiest project to get over the line.... But even battery technology is being surpassed by hydrogen.
If Bowie and his ilk were only renumerated in equity, just watch how quickly they'd get the SP rising.
There's a reason the Musks of this world pay themselves in equity. Bowie, like Budge can simply collect his salary regardless of performance. Who pays? You and I.
And name me one thing I've be wrong on? I called sub 1p. I called a share consolidation long before others started banding it about.
No-one wants this to succeed more than me, but the material facts speak for themselves.
The next 6-months really are make or break as a PLC.
The only glimmer may be that we will now own 100% of all project areas, so flogging the lot would be easier.
If we think about it, in spite of our asset base, we couldn’t raise the funds last time either, and 2.06p seems joyous at this point, although at the time it was another 40% discount which many of us believed was disgusting. So very poor even since then and look at it now.
Suzy, in my opinion, this morning you were trying to stir the pot again before reading the RNS releases. You are automatically cynical of Pocko’s posts, which isn’t always the correct approach. Today’s news is a shambles. It’s difficult to remain positive.
And sell at 1p
Thanks Wod...you've made me smile. ;-)
