I reckon.
All JALLis has done is posted recent article, nothing more then that, that isn't going to move the price, only CLON and partners can do that. If the posts annoy you, just ignore them.
Not stopping the manipulation and what appears to be the usual here though going by sp movement.
Yes nookie these are the dangers of these boards. Something I have stated many times over the years.
JAllis appears out of nowhere with old news articles and it looks like you’ve not read the recent rnss
Alot of companies/countries have DLE it is nothing new, however its not the favoured method for the YLB as its not entirely enviromently friendly. Clon is not using this method, we are using IDLE which doesnt use masses amounts of water and protects the enviroment, this method is patented and ground breaking and is favoured by the YLB, which puts us in a very unique position.
From RNS.
NCX's ion extraction technology uses the surface area of hollow fibre membranes to extract lithium ions from brines. The technology is a continuous process, and does not require high pressure, temperature or electrolysis. It does not rely on osmotic processes, or costly filtration techniques electrolysis, but instead mimics biophysical processes of natural principals to induce ions in solution to cross the membrane barrier. This mimics how mammal organisms remove wastes from a donor liquid without physically mixing with an acceptor liquid.
The technology has been proven to be effective and efficient during laboratory testing, and in the Board's view, NCX's technology is an innovative approach to direct lithium extraction.
Environmental attractions include limited energy and water consumption, extracting the targeted ions and generating minimal waste. It is suited for lithium extraction from Bolivian brines, where evaporative ponds are not optimal due to rainfall conditions, altitude and magnesium content.
Bolivia step closer to full lithium potential as $1bn Chinese deal closes
Bolivia finalised a major deal this week with China’s largest battery producer CATL and largest cobalt miner CMOC in a move that could finally see the South American country untap the full potential of its huge lithium resources.
State-owned producer Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB) said the group would invest around $1bn (919.97bn pesos) to build production plants that would use direct lithium extraction (DLE) in the Salar De Uyuni and Salar de Coipasa salt flats.
The consortium, which also includes CATL’s recycling subsidiary, Brunp, will produce 25,000 tonnes (t) of battery-grade lithium carbonate by 2024 and 100,000t by 2028, using DLE rather than large evaporation ponds.

Buzios - its not about the EU engaging with them but who ultimately the Bolivians want to go with - the Europeans, the Russians or the Chinese. Bolivia has long standing good relations with both the Chinese and the Russians. Bolivia-EU relations on the other hand are "not formalised"

Rebel - They've not used it previously its part of the bid round for these new licenses I believe. Following is extract from YLB:
"UCOM-YLB-01-21-2024.- La Paz, January 21, 2024 (UC – YLB) .- The president of Yacimientos de Lithio Bolivianos (YLB), Karla Calderón, reported today that the state will test the Lithium Direct Extraction (EDL) technology offered by companies from China and Russia in order to guarantee positive results and available resources to install industrial lithium carbonate complexes."
...also, I very much doubt the EU would want to engage commercially with the Russians/Chinese...
Clon do have a distinct advantage of being EU based... ...hope they can utilise it...
GLA
@JALLis
If the Chinese have it, they haven't been using it in Bolivia. They've been using traditional methods.
Appears that Russian and Chinese companies involved in the bidding also have DLE tech according to the YLB
More of the same tomorrow
Rns's to the right read 'em won't take long
Steady as she goes
I just want confirmation of next chemx tech.
The 52 days is the time given to the bidders to compile and submit their datasets, after that the gov reviews, shortlists and then moves to phase 3 the submissions and reviews of which likely take us to the Aug 6th date
The news that I'm expecting is confirmation that CLON are still in the race... that would be good news. It would be even better news if we found out that some companies had fallen by the way side.
Question - there appears to be a view that news on the licenses is expected over the next few weeks, could someone clarify what the source of this is? Based on the interview DH did with StockBox in March he mentioned contract signing would be by August 6th - this would also align with the following:
"“Let it be clear that we’re working with the most legally serious companies. Twenty-five companies moved on to the second phase and in the coming days the information exchange agreements will be signed, which will be mainly technical,” YLB’s president Karla Calderón said in a television interview.
Calderón added that the companies were authorized after verifying compliance with administrative and legal requirements established in the call.
In the second stage, qualified companies must present their proposals and prove their technical and financial capacity to carry out the proposed pilot projects.
In the third phase, the YLB evaluation commission will analyze the proposals and issue reports on the companies’ suitability to sign agreements with the state firm. YLB plans to sign the agreements on August 6."

Appreciate the last RNS mentioned negotiation on contract terms during April but that doesnt equate to contract signing.
Thanks to Eagleeye for clarifying EU funding!
Apologies, rebel100, I was led to believe that there was potentially a support package available from the EU (don't know where I picked that up from) and was thinking that any indication that they were providing that would be a signal that CLON were progressing to the next stage. At the very least, EU officials would want to be greasing the wheels to get European companies on the list of licencees.
22Million at a weighted Average of 0.08 - I m looking for X10 on that because I'm A) greedy B) Deluded and living in fantasy land C) Playing the long game on a moonshot. D) all of the above:-))
Thats the general idea lol
If the tech works well and they get the resources, you will be loaded. Fingers crossed x
There are loads of clues in recent RNSs to EU Funding, this is just one of them.
The Company further notes that the European Commission is vigorously pursuing its priority Critical Resources Initiative, and committing substantial financial and other resources to bring producers, suppliers, and users together to secure adequate off-take for European markets. EU private sector and financial institutions now focus on strengthening critical raw material value chains between the EU and Latin America.
Further updates will be provided, as appropriate, in accordance with necessary clearances from the authorities.
"Cos last.month there was something which said about clon getting the license"
There was no definitive announcement; only that CLON has been added to the shortlist. The final decision will be made in May. It would be a welcome change to see an uplift. I currently own 1.74% at 0.052 and have been in a deficit for a while. I remain confident of a turnaround, hoping for a legitimate increase rather than another pump and dump that would plunge it back into obscurity for another year.
@ steward1
The EU wants a of supply of lithium, it's as simple as that.
They don't want to have to get if from China, US, Russia etc.
