Posted already, but Copperstone were given official notification months before they were actually granted their licence, and it was communicated via an RNS given that it was market sensitive. So yes, a ‘nod’ can happen!
my hope/expectation is that a new Gov't is formed by 25 September and a new Mining Minister is appointed who makes some clear noises about supporting mining (it's not just our licence that's been held up) - then a more specific nod in our direction - that will do for me. All do-able this year.
I think that is fair Ed, but your timescale leaves only three more months, which isn't very long. A few more weeks for the post-election dust to settle perhaps, and you are only then allowing Kurt two months in which to kickstart the Swedes into action. I'm giving it until April Ed, that way we'll have six months for Kurt to press after dust settling, and it'll be the six year birthday party on our application. If a decision comes this year it will be most appropriate of course, but Kurt needs a bit more leeway himself from us, in my view, in order to sort this, considering the new Government coalition will only have been in operation a short time. Well, hopefully a new Government will be formed within the next few weeks. Lol. We do know Kurt will go in pressing for us after the dust settles. He's said as much, which is what I wanted to hear, so we need to support him by sticking with it, if we can. As frustrating as it may be. Only my thoughts. Best wishes. Cheers Ed.
Yep
It’s the end game ed44... it comes down to to a simple yes or no.
Seems like old news.... ?
I thought this Bloomberg interview with Carl Bildt was interesting
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-09-11/sweden-s-final-vote-count-gets-tense-as-no-one-concedes-defeat
Thanks for sharing that link, very interesting
Seeing all of the back and forth buck passing that's taken place over the years all listed in date order has really opened my eyes to what's been going on.
All that has happened is that the various agencies have played table tennis with our application without any intention of ever making any sort of decision. Hopefully the new government will be more positive regarding decision making.
If that doesn't happen soon it's time for Kurt to get his fighting hat on and take the battle to the courts as there are no genuine reasons for not awarding the exploitation permit. Kurt has handled all of the issues regarding for example the green issues and the routing of ore shipping to protect the reindeer migration routes even though they are only used for a few days twice a year.
I've had enough of this nonsense now and I'll be selling our shares and moving on if there is no decision by the end of this year. It's time for my wife and I to get on with our lives instead of monitoring this share every day.
Fingers crossed for a decision soon.
I find that if you open any Swedish document in Chrome it will off to automatically translate to English - v handy.

The documents I have looked at so far are in English, which is handy!
Enjoy... The sport of kings for me this weekend. And yes... it’s been a tiring process, and we are not there yet.
Yes, everybody's exhausted. we need a bit of a breather for the next lap; I'm going away to Somerset for the weekend, so don't imagine I'm sulking, just a bit tired of being excited.
Busy day on here again...
We certainly need a strong government...
True, but don't forget the Alliance were in Government from 2006-2014 and they were chucked out A much stronger alliance would be better and every party is pro mining except MP and possibly V.
There sppears to be an appetite for change though... the Democrats have held power in one form or another for 100yrs... Either way, it won’t be wholly focused on their agenda, and there is no longer a reliance on the Green Party to prop them up in a minority government. I just want them to get on with it... and form a government. Whoever that might be
I was about to say the Riksdag opens on 25 September, 14:00 hours....should be interesting. My guess is that Mr Lofven will manage to pull it off and make a new alliance.
Well, well....what a surprise, Wordsworth at his very best and not out wandering like a cloud ;-
Hey Tin Tin one for you here as your full of rubbish most days :
"Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar:
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home:
Heaven lies about us in our infancy!
Shades of the prison-house begin to close
Upon the growing Boy,
But He beholds the light, and whence it flows,
He sees it in his joy!"
It's a new Bond film, but Daniel Craig is being replaced by Sir Clive Sinclair-Poulton. There's a lot of suede involved and, bizarrely, no local people anywhere to be seen.
does that mean hubby lbjj will be back?
that's not a James Bond film. Unless I missed "Totally Hampered" in the cinema.
You moving on? That's great news Martina.
Meanwhile, our progress in Sweden remains totally hampered. As does our share price.
