Not me.

Personally, I would rather your abusive and pointless posts stay put to expose your true self.
Someone else must have objected to your foul mouth.
usual uppy downy over there - it's agenda day today and some panicking that it's not on it this week (FFS! how many years now?). I think we should get a decision in the next month or so but no need to stress this one......
has my posts removed what a jerk he like handing it out but he can not take it back child
Tintin - I have now added below the text that was missing from yours. Reason to be hopeful indeed.
Norrbotniabanan must be built in stages ”

Ibrahim Baylan has a positive view of the business community in northern Sweden. He says this in his first interview with Västerbottens-Kuriren as Minister of Industry.
that's all I got....it will have to do I'm afraid - basically he seems in favour of them..

Tintin
Where does it say that the Minister he wants mines? Your extract doesn't mention anything about mines
Ka-Pow! :-)
Nighty morn x
Nighty morn. x
Sooz, the actual application for test mining is also mentioned in this Kal North update of 13 July 2012, where it states the intended cubed metre sample that would be taken. Seems like enough to me. Lol. Note that it also mentions generating 'final product' samples, and which we now know are top notch. Ka-Pow! Here it is: "Application for test mining at Kallak North The Company also announces that JIMAB has recently filed an application for test mining at the Kallak North deposit with the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten, in accordance with the requirements of the Swedish Minerals Act and Environmental Code. The purpose of the test mining is to collect representative samples for metallurgical test work off site, allowing design parameters for mineral processing to be developed, as well as generating final product samples for metallurgical testing by potential future customers. The application includes a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA"), which has been prepared following due consultation with stakeholders. The EIA prepared for the purposes of this application also forms part of the Company's ongoing environmental studies. The planned test mining will include up to 2,000m3 of mineralised material from up to six trenches crossing the Kallak North mineralisation in a West-East direction. The length of the trenches will be up to 50m each. Arrangements for coarse crushing of the samples on site will be provided if required. Following receipt of approval for this application in due course, detailed work plans will then be prepared and disseminated to the relevant land owners and users in the affected area prior to any field work commencing."
Thanks Eric Nighty night. x
Pabslabs....It all on the surface...it's a quarry.
I think this was it: https://www.investegate.co.uk/beowulf-mining-plc--bem-/rns/result-of-agm-and-update-re-kallak-test-mining/201307041343156013I/
...I think this was samples dug from the surface test strip..not drill cores.. ..samples generated from test mining.. The test mining was on the surface Suzy. GLA ..must be soon
They were not as you put it "surface samples". From an RNS of 8 Jun 2015, these are the results:
A 'super' high grade magnetite concentrate, with over 71 per cent iron content and very low levels of deleterious elements (silica, alumina, phosphorous and sulphur) was produced.
· The 'super' high grade and purity of the magnetite concentrate produced are valuable attributes
for key target markets: pellets; Direct Reduction Iron ("DRI") facilities in Europe and the Middle East; and in chemical industry applications, with higher quality iron units benefiting manufacturing productivity with improved economy, and high purity delivering environmental benefits.
· The testwork results support the case for a significant price premium for 'Kallak super
concentrate' ("Kallak Super-con"), over and above much reported iron ore market benchmark prices. As a comparison, the 65 per cent iron content pellet price was on average $40 per tonne higher than the 62 per cent iron content price in 2014.
· High grade hematite concentrate with over 68 per cent iron content provides additional upside,
and potential use as sinter feed blend.
· All testwork was carried out at GTK in Outokumpu City, Finland ("GTK") on samples generated
from test mining at Kallak North in 2013. A magnetite product control sample was analysed by SGS Canada Inc. to validate the high grade results.
Great stuff Tintin.
Ibrahim Baylan has a positive view of the business community in northern Sweden. He says this in his first interview with Västerbottens-Kuriren as Minister of Industry.
- There is good access to infrastructure and access to huge amounts of clean energy which is something that is in great demand, says Ibrahim Baylan (S).
He further believes that there are good opportunities for the business community in the north to increase their investments and mention the mining industry and the forest industry as two examples.
VK: Will the entire Norrbotniabanan line be built?
- It is my opinion and has been for a very long time. It should happen in stages. I was chairman of the Parliament's Traffic Committee in 2008 when it was written into the Social Democrats' program that Norrbotniabanan is a strategic and important initiative and I have not changed my mind, says Ibrahim Baylan.
Digitization was highlighted in the government statement and it is also an area at Ibrahim Baylan's table.
- The trade is an example where digitization plays an important role. If you don't hang out you are gone. Sweden should not just keep up, but push on, he says.
Inlandsbanan ready for Kallak
JOKKMOKK Inlandsbanan is ready for ore trains from Kallak. "If the mining operation starts, we can offer transportation", says Peter Ekholm, CEO.
He believes that it is such a long time between a decision to open a mine that there is a need for freight trains that the Inlandsbanan has time to prepare for it.
- At the same time, there are several stakeholders and we have our plans for renovation, says Peter Ekholm.
He notes that the Inlandsbanan does not have the standard needed for freight traffic.
- We cannot integrate with the rest of the railway system. This makes it difficult to attract the big carriers. There we see a great need to achieve a Swedish minimum level.
Peter Ekholm is optimistic and refers to the fact that intensive lobbying is ongoing towards the state in order to receive money.
- We already said in May that we intend to equip the track and this will be based on the needs we see. It can be about Kallak. Should there be an establishment there, it is certainly certain that the transports would go by rail.
He explains that the company behind the mining plans in Kallak updates the managers on the Inlandsbanan about what is happening.
- So if they come forward in the plans, we can start the renovation in good time.
The Inlandsbanan, which already exists, need not have a costly and time-consuming planning process, which is required for new railways.
- We also do not need to interrupt traffic in the track, because we do not have any. So it will be cost-effective for us. And we all have permits, says Peter Ekholm.
Unknown Soldier - surely 77p not £1. I would happily take 77p.
Not having the political bottle to make a decision is one thing, refusing to grant the concession and then handing it over to LKAB is quite another. They wouldn't dare, it would destroy any future foreign investment in mining exploration.
One point that hasn’t been raised is the fact that I assume LKAB would most likely like to see BEM fail I mean I suspect they will try to manipulate things at the political level as I assume Kalllak May impact their mind revenue Swedish supply.
I have never heard anyone consider this but I suspect may go somewhat to explain the delays.
This whole charade does kinda make Sweden look like some dodgy African country run my corruption
It's not a quibble as it's all supposition.
Regarding the high grade as far as I know tests on this was conducted on surface samples only, not from drilled samples.
You'll remember the c500 ton samples were stored somewhere in Jokkmokk and when it became known where they were the local Sami reared up and made objections, they were complaining about everything at the time, still are.
Anyway when trying to make valuations its better to err on the side of caution, don't you agree?
I don't expect many, if anybody who's invested here now will still be here when the mine starts up, I won't be.
So suffice to say this is getting tastier by the day every day is a step closer. Roll on decision day!
Not sure Suzy, maybe, if I remember right there were concerns at the time with regards to road transport / number of journeys / size of trucks / road upgrades etc.
This may have been a prelude to a rail link direct to the mine.
It's maybe somewhere in the EIA if its correct. But I do remember reading it at the time.
Also, FarEnd since you quibble with the Redeye analysis... he didn't value in the high grade product.
Wasn't that 6mt figure initially...and not over a longer period.
