You've taken the chances and done well here Ed. Long may it continue. I haven't had as much bottle. Just held and added a few, but never attempted to sell and buy back. I'm sweating just thinking about it. Lol. I do like the slow and steady rises rather than chaos. Hoping that this recent move up is the start of brighter things now, but have to see eh? Good luck to you Ed, and to all of us who believe in this. I'm sure we'll keep on muddling through until this decision arrives. Then we can see what occurs. Best wishes.
Evening guys
You are right guys, Our heads are well above water level in mine and my wife's accounts. We've traded this share on lots of occasions and when it was in the doldrums I took money out and traded other shares and then put the money and the profit back into BEM. So we have a lot more shares than when we started with BEM.
It's lovely to see our SP and the Aktie moving up slowly rather than the fast rises followed by even faster crashes that we've endured. Fingers crossed for more of the same tomorrow.
Winstone Snippet: https://www.pressreader.com
Oh yes, I remember that now. Was trying to think who it was. Do you remember Ray Winstone popping in? Ha ha. He'd done the voiceover for the film of the proper story of Beowulf, but a few years later he also appeared at one of CSP's talks. Not sure if Ray ever bought any shares though. This share has been bloody mad!
Siamanto even
Just remembered - mybem website was created by siamento. Then we’ve not seen mindshare, coolcol, coldfeet, Netley and mr Patel
Glad you haven't given up on it matey. Sounds like the norm to me, the stages that you've been through. Lol. I've felt dead, especially watching this last year, but my toes are wiggling again. Unless it's the electrodes on my gonads. Annie Lööf has given me hope for a better Sweden. Where they get their fingers out. Have to see.
I’m still here Eric, holding strong. In the time I’ve been invested I’ve actually died, decomposed and been reincarnated. Who was it that created that bem investors website years ago?
Good list there. Goyathlay too. He was ace. Not sure about BrecaBronding though. He was a little bugger, never invested, and probably still watching. Ha ha. Then we mustn't forget Delt, though I'd like to. Hope you are well.
It would be good to have a role call one day to ascertain who’s been lost at sea during this long, treacherous voyage - Phil Dove, Steve Auton, Mick, Lozan, Oaktree, Anne etc. Supply was a lovely poster too - had a bit of panache
Well played on that 1.5p. A good few years ago now, but I remember that period. It was terrifying. Lol. Tough as old boots we must be then Tintin. Still here! Atb.
I often wonder what became of Jo and the hoopoes
my lowest average down price paid (he says smugly) - God knows why - I think everybody hated them at the time - still....all good things etc - hopefully we will all be up on this soon - and what a journey it will have been - can't imagine the same excitement/depression from an ISA somehow.....
I seem to spend more time looking at Aktie these days and think of my sell out price being about 2 sek - but who knows....might get another chance at 1p again :(
G/L
Yes I think Ed is gradually lowering his average, if not his cholesterol. Lol. World class asset, so we must expect a bit of joy at some point. It's been a long time coming though, and it feels weird seeing this rising again. But in a good way. Best wishes.
ed 44 should have a good average now l recall he brought a lot on the way down
closed at 7.34
yes like a lot of longs l trust that we will win in the end that's why l brought more shares on the way down , you can not have some think in the bag that is genuine and lose , all can see is that one way or another we will all come out good may be not all red roses but l would be happy with black tulips"
It was Prof. He dropped his May '81 copy of Razzle onto his keyboard when the sp shot over 7p. Poor lad lost it.
Good one. You are currently peachy.
Was it you Draven? Did you drop your pastie on the keyboard again?
Chasing that break-even dream. Ha ha. Yep, looking better, today anyway. Let's see how the week goes then Bricktop. Each day brings us closer to a decision by the Swedes. No, it really does. Lol. Good luck to us all.
Howl. Five thumbs on each hand.
Lol that was a huge mistake - 995,060 instead of -99,506...only they must have a mill in there for it to have gone through in the first place, ii with pigs tits for fingers I wonder...
that my average 6.5 l brought twice when the share dropped
