Even 'mr loophole' as he is known to the rich and famous who employ him wouldn't be able to get CF off these charges.
Wonder if they will go under a price support of 2000p it's a psychological one as well as financial if I was cf sweat would be starting to drip.Seems AAL sh not to sure it's a pot of gold.-10% in weeks and a world economy on the skids.
Aww, poor CF only getting away with 7 mill, excuse me if I don't feel sympathy for him, he has shafted genuine, loyal LTH's to the tune of thousands and thousands of pounds, he was either corrupt or inept, either way it's the same result for LTH's here!
You’ll need Nick Freeman for that.
No I didn’t think I’d convince anybody, just thought I had to say something in CF’s defence .
Your not convincing me .
Ironic that the defender of Fraser has a user name (th)ROBBER
Yes scotty very funny. It’s easy to criticise someone when things go pear shaped, but I’ve met the man on several occasions and have judged him to be honest and trustworthy. I know that he will have tried his best to make this project succeed and I know he will be feeling p***** off that he has failed to bring it off. It speaks volumes that he will receive a far smaller payout than he would if like all of us the project had come to fruition. Which would you choose given the chance £7m or £100+m , and yet people on here think he has done this deliberately.
Very rarely post and monitor a lot. I am down a lot on this share and bought Chris Fraser and co story. I will also vote NO.
CF , did his best , and pinochio never lied
I emailed HL, and this was the response as a heads up.
“Thanks for contacting us.
“We are due to send out more information surrounding the SXX corporate action announcement this week.
With this in mind all the information surrounding the option to vote for the proposed takeover will be included in this email.
In the meantime if you have any other questions, please get back to me.
Regards
Brad........... if Mystic Meg was sat at that table, pre 15p............!
I've sucked on her teet, whilst doing a five knuckle shuffle..........:()
All the best (catch me drift :()
Steady on Thatscoffee, calling me ignorant and then getting your % the wrong way round.
All I’m saying is that it’s not worth getting a heart attack, what is done is done , in my view CF did his best and it is not going to benefit anyone by name calling and mud slinging. The only ones who will suffer are the SH who can’t let go and drive themselves to an early grave . It’s not a nice situation that we have here, but accept it and move on.
I'm down %70, I'm Bitter as vinegar
Yes Navara
I am so happy someone els noticed that.
Smed.
So you’re not bitter then Thatscoffee
A great many of the 85,000 PI's were/are local, as many as 15000-20000. If the government cared they cold have their cake and eat it - giving an IFA guarantee supporting the project and, in turn, the investors and generating the taxes. Are you for real lecturing me that I should be pleased that the govt will rake in billions in tax and I should suck up my loss when I was told the project was PRE QUALIIFIED for IFA guarantee. Forgive me if I strongly disagree with your altruism.
Locals were supporting this project to reinvigorate the local area. That may well happen and jobs and businesses will thrive, but none of it would be possible if the locals and others hadn't supported the fund raising along the way. Many of them will be ruined even if the area, generally, gets a boost. Are they supposed to be pleased for their neighbor employed at the mine while they sit at home with bread and water.
To call or others who want to vote NO spiteful is disgusting and deeply offensive and that's putting it extremely politely. If I said what I really felt it would be account closed. We were missold the investment case and Fraser has been, at best negligent, at worst something else entirely.
Don't be stupid and Ignorant. Why should I agree to help CF and his Goons get a nice high paid jobs and huge bonuses as well as a 7 million pounds pay off? CF was happy to rob us when he asked us for funding help and now the tides have turned and it's his turn to get Shafted. Losing 70% of my investment I have no interest in saving the rest if it means that stupid git will lose out to!
There is no way I'm voting yes to lose 75% and any involvement in the project when the money men and Fraser keep theirs.
The remaining 25% is a small price to risk to keeping the project going and keeping a share in it versus losing most of what I had and having no share in the massive enterprise AAL, JPM and others are trying to steal from under our noses.
VOTE NO IMO.
Sod the jobs sod the taxes. People will find new jobs.
He may been badly advised Chesh!
Mystic Meg was not infallible.
And the employees lose their jobs. The country looses billions of tax revenue. The local area looses a massive boost to its economy, but you will be able to sleep knowing that you’ve been spiteful and stupid by not saving a little of what is left of your investment.
Yes it hurts losing , but it’s time to man up (or woman up) and stop listening to these Self pitiful idiots who have only themselves to blame.
And yes I’ve lost a load !!
LTV
I think we can deal with CF after we've voted no and funding is found ! I won't vote NO if I think It will cause administration !
But I do believe the fundamentals will pull us through ..
IMO
I recall in the DM article where he was berating ignorant PI's in over their head and internet chat rooms for his woes that he was hypocritical enough to mention that he had everything he owned sunk in to this project and he didn't own any other shares or assets other than the house he built "with a big mortgage".
So if this goes into admin then he loses the lot, big house and all. So you can see why he's trying to scaremonger admin. He's stuffed if this goes into admin. But you know what, so he should be cos he's stuffed the rest of us.
Vote NO. If he cant sort out financing he deserves to be ruined like the rest of us. A yes vote for AAL gives him seven million quid and allows him to keep his job his bonuses and, no doubt, plenty of future share options in AAL.
Always CF................!
never invest more than can afford to lose............... :()
All the best (He may have done :)
