Nunn get kudos, not 500m but 1b from the cash pile and loose the boring.Christ the Italian stud made it with the gorgeous blonde babe with the banks(our)money.Cut loose, flower power was over and a pension the first thought after nurse scrape off,but should our SP suffer?
Brought 200k from 45 down to 39.60 and will buy more if goes down further. From gain prospective not bothered in slightest about bust businesses, Israel,Ukraixxx, share buybacks or uncle Tom cobley an all. In to make money.Lloyds is now virtually part of BOE with 6% divi +,good fundamentals plus HMG own the printing press plus the west (FED)will protect the banking system with (for the next 20/50 years) the mighty dollar to its last missile and if it all goes txts up who cares about Lloyd's SP.
Chid/Brixton,every long established business has to balance the pros and cons.Do you remain the same and hope to keep customers who are loyal to your brand, extremely profitable with large balances who do not even bother with interest rates OR get down in the mud and fight for business. The two are completely different business models. With the first you can always pick number 2 but go with the mud and there is no return.Lloyds has chosen to keep to number 1 as its whole business model is based on loyal suckers.Brixton 45 years S/E you deserve every penny of your pension.
The only reasons I am in is yield and BATS concentration on ncp,s.The company seems to be pulling out all the stops on this and has a distribution network as a top player to sell its products. Its dept that's the bogey man.A good move would be to cut the divi and reduce it while tobacco sales are solid.Yes short term pain for long term gain?.I await the brickbats but civil please.
Smoked for 60 years but took up vaping after seeing emphysema nodule on lung now cigarettes have no taste, wished I had done it years ago but when on school trip long long ago took for the day around cigarettes factory.Gave the teachers 200 cigarettes each and said don't worry sonny you will soon be old enough to smoke.Bought 2000 BAT today to hold long term.
Just sold at a very small proffit because totally fed up seeing a share that by all parameters should be trading above 13/14/15 still trading at a price were oil was in 30 to 40 dollar bracket.BP up ++??.Sold because this shares price can only be were it is due to trading were people try to make a few measly quid rather than a long term investment. Its not worth the effort investing were fundamentals mean little.
As some one who has watched this board for some time and lacks any real knowledge with regards nuts and bolts of oil I am full of admiration for the knowledge displayed on this forum even though I am a quite a bit down at least I have a grasp on why.I have invested because it's a certainty in my mind that oil must rebound medium term, having come from a back ground were big company's whose whole aspect was geared to high production and could not find sufficient profit in a changing environment were mass production over supplied and thus leaving openings for the more smaller and nimble operations.Nothing to do with oil as such just the conviction that the future will curtail plans of those who base viability on massive output in a receding market for their product.I will as an oil dunce take no umbrage in my comments being disparaged but again profess my thanks to the contributors of this board for their broad knowledge.
Invested third time due to friends recommendation but got caught on the hop.At 3 .30 friday spread 1p at 57/58p.Had to go shopping for half an hour and wife placed the trade for me while away at 4p spread and 60.33p.Lost a packet but my own bloody fault.Hope it's not an omen.Any way my only take on seplat is it seems totally undervalued in fact I had to recheck my research till I was fed up with it,but can any one confirm the dividend is still on track.Do not pretend to be an oil buff.
Its been a sad but sobering experience and I feel sorry for on the whole some very very nice people who have lost a lot.But remember you hopefully have your health and believe me that's a lot more important.I face the reaper shortly but this board has on many times allowed me to forget it and for that I thank every one.HSE hope springs eternal.so long and good luck
The drop is heaven sent for those who have lost on sxx take the 5.5 and this time do not buy fools gold but blue chip good divi payers at these share prices 12 months and you will have made back at least some.Sxx was and is a curse.I am sure AAL will come to realise it, in all 600 mill cash 2 furnaces idle and years away rom proffit?. I bet they could push the clock back.
On a day when gold should be through the roof it's down, fed 10year below 0 .5%,negative interest rates every where. This dip is the weirdest ever.
Now she has to pay for the shopping
Just put in everything but the kitchen sink in the market and Have told the wife If drops more to use her cash there will never come this time again in my life time,Buying in ftse 100 at 10% divi covered 2 times its unbelievable.
Pity the poor foreman rebuilding em
A furnace is almost a living thing A and B out one for explosion the other for water probably both water they have massive problems. They say 80 days but ain't no one can ever be Sure 80 days, and then nurture it to life over how Long,,,,? and it could fail again that's why they keep em going 365 days a year I think this Sxx is a curse
Beggars kings we all end up the same place and realise what we thought was so important was just a small blip.Cf bears the shame as he passes the men who once thought him so important who smile and think your no fxxker now .
Hate to say it but remember Long time back when brought up the kid who could see the see all the courtiers were mad telling the mad king his clothes were beautiful when he could see the king was really naked. The kid was the one who was right. All the foul insults from that one person who it seems no longer posts but hopefully still reads were no use were they
