I have today received just over £100 pounds for my remaining shares of Sefton. As I wrote this off long time ago and I dont believe it will ever again be worth more again (except for the corrupt directors who will siphon the rest of the cash to their own pockets), this is a special bonus. It will go on a nice meal for me and my wife where we will toast to the downfall of all corrupt companies and directors. Sefton is the worse company I have ever had the misfortune to be involved in (even if I overall come it with a profit), It has never had a chance due to greedy, deceiving and totally incompetent management and boards from the first day till this very day. At least I hoped we all learnt some lessons, learnt to see the signs of companies we shouldn't touch, learnt not to believe all the BS we hear on forums and made some good acquaintances through the forums as well. Happy investing for the future!

Father, if you were not charged then lucky you. I also received a hand written envelope. Very professional of them!!
Wonder what happens now. Anyone got any idea where we go from here?
I'm with II and mine was free ????
I am with ii and had a corporate action allowing me to request a share certificate. It cost £44 and I am now (as of today) in receipt of my share certificate for my millions of SEFTON RESOURCES shares. I will frame this in the hope that one day they may actually be worth millions.......
My broker told me that no action was required of me and did not inform me that there was an option to certificate my 5000000 shares because it was decided the timescale rendered the option non viable so has offered me a hamper to the value of £40 as a goodwill gesture.Has anyone else been denied knowledge of this option by their broker?

I long abandoned these ages ago. I have 1300000 of them sitting in a share account. I don't really understand what has happened in regards to the term Pari Passu. Has BMD taken all the shares from me and left me with nothing? \i would really appreciate any information or advice as I am completely in the dark.
Many Thanks in advance.

has anyone written a detailed account of this fraud, for their own clarity's sake? I'd be interested in reading it if anyone has or willing to do so let me have it in word format. Thanks

Let's not fall out here, obviously different brokers have different charges and that is all we can say about that. Never forget forget the only bad guys here are BMD and his cronies led by California Joe. They are the ones screwing us out of the last remain of Sefton after trying to claim they were the sharehodlders friends. There are bad managers and trust me, Sefton saw it's fair share of those and there are swindlers who set out to defraud and BMD proved the first time he was in charge he was a very bad manager and the second time that he is a swindler and we shoudl all make sure that any company where we see him turn up in the future is reminded of his history here. I said before that I didnt care about his past and he should get a second chance but I have to admit that seeing what he does now proves the old adage that a leopard cant change his colours, he has just become more sophisticated in his crimes!

Just because I haven't posted as many times as you Yorkshireman doesn't make my posts any less valid.
Enough said
So Mr Yorkshireman, is MRPlumper telling lies as well?
I said that it cost me around £44 and It cost him £42 with ii.
Just certificated my shares
Forty two pounds with i i
Would now guess there isn't -- 1 post and 16 prob says it all :D
Mine arrived through the post when it first delisted.
Cost nothing at the time.
Why is there a charge now?
Previously confirmed certificates would be Free --- nothing changed as far as i know

Very good
But if we all certificate you don't win karma
Just £21 . shocking isn't it.
All those promises from team clem and BMD; The dreams of billions of barrels in the Bahamas; absolutely ridiculous .
My three million twenty one quid
Unless someone is going to tell me it's two hundred and ten quid

Just certificate
We are going to lose it all anyway
If it causes a few problems for him and his so righteous chums
Does anyone believe that they want to look after the true PI's????
Its interesting that the offer of 0.0007p is based on the 'cash' held.
However; do you recall that BMD stated they had invested £85,000 in 4 'investments'?
Now lets do some interesting maths. Earlier in the year BMD tweeted that the cash situation was about the same.
The last number we were given was £144k in 2017.
BMD's 'generous' offer values the company (its cash ) at just £62,645 and that's only what you will get a cut from.
Lets do some interesting maths; lets add £62,645 to £85,000; those mysterious investments.
We come up with a total of £147,645; a number spookily close to the 2017 figure of £144k.
The abscence of accounts clearly outlining the numbers is MOST regretable.

To all those taking the certificate dont forget that Levi and Chris Bailey (claifornia Joe) put in a clause in the last resolution that they coudl buy out anyone they didnt like for any value they decided, so i know that I would be thrown out anyway as they know who I am through trying to get me on board to topple the previous management. The previous management was pretty useless but not quite as corrupt as the present one, who dont even publish the cash position when deciding what to pay for he shares.
If we do the math they have shared about 80000 pounds amongst themselves over the last year, they certianly havent spent it on Sefton and if they dont agree , come out from where you are hiding and give us a set of accounts where you account for every penny that has disappeared.
Anyway be prepared that even if you ask for a certificate if they know who you are they are entitled to refuse you according to the rule they voted for at the AGM in a move that Putin would be proud of!

Hi Pete
What a total joke
Got to certificate
If i lose my twenty one quid so be it ha ha
levi is a cock roach, lets all hope he gets something real nasty , fin little w\n\ker , screwed me for 3k , transfer to certificate and screw him,,, ****
0.0007 PENCE
Values Sefton at £62,645
That's all very strange as on 22nd July 2017 BMD informed holders that Ellerton owed SER in excess of $200 K USD
On 14th March 2017 the update had these lines;
"2/ Sefton are currently in negotiation’s regarding a small producing oil asset on the African continent. Circa 100bopd. Due diligence is proceeding.
3/ The net cash balance of Sefton Resources has risen to £144,000."
=======================================================================================
£144K alone would, divided amongst the shares, works out at 0.00161p each.
If you have One million shares you might hope to receive back £16.10 that's if you could sell them."
With BMD's offer you only get £7.00 now!
it does not appear that BMD's offer is generous.

Agree with Buller, but I am going to take the certificate, if nothing else it may just **** them off.
I really dont understand the conversation on this forum. This share and company has been dead for a long time and the changes that BMD and California Joe has forced through just shows that they have the same disregard towards sharehodlers as the previous directors who these two characters opposed in the past. They are crooks, only in it for themselves and now they just want Sefton as a shell company for themselves. I dont care hwat they do with it but why would I ever invest in a compnay that these 2 were running as they have no track record in turning any company into profit. With no accounts, no cahs status, no updates and no activity none of us have any basis for asessing if any offer is fair but it really doesnt matter No sensible person hasnt written off their shareholding a long time ago. So I will tale the few pence and give them to charity (already claimed the losses agianst profits elsewhere tax wise).
I have learnt a lot from Sefton and could actually write a book about the worse company ever listed, how many bad directors and CEO s have we seen here (some of which were strongly supported by California Joe, who now has deleted me form his Twitter after first trying to convince me to throw my hat in the ring with him and BMD, how stupid can you be?). So many bad decisions, so much lying and cheating and incredible deception. The only good things are teh people I met through the forum and teh many lessons I learnt which has helped make money so many other places ., I actually did end in profit on Sefton considering the profits I made at first but the lessons are helping me in my trading every day.
Good Bye and good riddance Sefton, good luck to you all and please help me warn any shareholders in companies where BMD or California Joe makes an appearance with their ugly mugs!

Where is the independent oversight of this valuation process. Where has the cash gone?
How can anyone judge the fairness or otherwise?
Two years of missing accounts. Shareholders have been largely kept in the dark as to where the money has gone.
Haven't paid much attention to the detritus of my AIM exploits from several years ago, but am I safe to assume Sefton is a write-off, just accept the buy back and put the money towards a bag of crisps? Supermarket crisps.
0.0007p values SER at just £62,645 . Incredible.
Since Team Clem and BMD took over its been downhill all the way
Had a email from HL, 0.0007p per share. FFS !!!!!!
They're ok, but I bet they're a bitch to park.

If this is for real which i have my doubts
Then surely my broker should give me the buy back price so i can decide what to do
On the 7th. November last year I sent an email to Dan Levi asking him for an up to date on the situation with Sefton. His answer is shown below. It appears that he has now sorted out the claims.
'There is a lien on one of his properties in Hawaii and we have a stop on all of his shareholdings which are the subject of investigation.'
Daniel Levi (CEO)

A copy of my email to Sefton
'Good afternoon at Sefton Resources.
On the 22nd. July this year you published a report that stated that after the verdict was reached in the Ellerton case you would pursue Ellerton until all monies had been paid.
Could I ask for an update on the situation and if any money has been received.'
