Indeed things gonna get bumpy for a bit - a little take over bid or a drop to 5p would certainly rattle a few but stranger things have happened with pfc. Either way long term this is sound. Get the bumps over then 🚀

It’s very expensive to short PFC. Shorters have to borrow stock from Institutions to short and according to JN on ADVFN current overnight rates are 350%. This is because Institutions are calling in their loans so that they can sell their equity, squeezing the shorters. I assume some have better locked in borrowing arrangements than others.
Those shorters with secure locked in borrowing positions are obviously still hoping for 5p.
PFC can publish results now but the going concern statement will spook the markets. I’m sure they will announce next week but clearly better to sort out the restructuring first if they can. Hopefully no news now means we are close
One thing we can all agree on is let’s get it over with!
Hold your nerve time. Next weeks a big week for pfc. My guess is sorts will be wishing they reduced!
Is Aiden the Receiver....
Because that's the only person thats going to deal with Petrobust....
I hope you are right MaryBr but there has been such little short reduction and that last RNS just destroyed any hopeful speculation, we just know PFC don’t give two hoots about its shareholders. Never was its pinned tweet on moderating its social media more necessary. I really believed in a recovery, love to invest in engineering and energy sectors especially ones which I think might have an edge. Got this one wrong. Fooled by a terrible CEO and BOD. Really terrible all IMAO of course but thems the breaks.
Apo
Aiden will be the hero and sort it all out. Soon be a RR. repeat.
A lot of buys coming in as sells. Shorts reducing. Game on.
Can the company release the 2023 year result without financing solution confirmed? If not, I guess the result will be delayed.
Trades of 21k going through as per the last few days. Short reducing and trying to keep it under the radar or is someone accumulating?
GLAGLTH
Yes it could be a wipe out but where there’s hope, there may yet be honey 🍯. GLA
Over on the Tullow site this d*ckhead has announced he is SickRanchez in a new profile because he was banned.....needless to say I will report and block
As predicted pfc rns will be at the final trading day of April.
Paul Curtis why have the shorts not reduced more confiding a D4E is on the cards according to you ?
Old news i appreciate, but has anybody read the S&P rating published this month? Does not read well at all.

That usual practice is for a normal company but this is PFC
It is customary to issue an RNS announcing the date when the results are released.
Bring it on - Happy to buy at these levels. Should get a huge bounce as all the negative outcomes have been priced into this extremely low share price. If there is a raise happy to be a part. This company has a bright future. This is one of my £1 predictions for 2025 - GLA.
I have just heard Petrofac update is on Tuesday next week. So hold tight until then.
It is next week as per yahoo not monday.
Earnings date 29 Apr 2024 - 05 May 2024
https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quote/PFC.L/
Yahoo states its going tobe monday 29th.
Well, no RNS on EoY numbers this morning. IF they are going be released in April, there are just two more days left.
What's the betting??
- that we'll get a brief and ambiguous RNS on the 30th April saying they are delayed, or
- we get an RNS saying that it was a bad year (which we all know, just not how bad yet) and here is a plan with asset sales, D4E, etc....
I'm included to think they will be delayed, but I'd love to be proved wrong.
Keep that chin up PFCVet!
Investors with integrity, but “not currently holding”, offer more value than idiots that talk like a skater park 16 year that might be holding.
Stay tuned PFCvet
PFCvetran Are you completely out
Thanks for letting us know, PFCvetran.
Disagree that these chat boards are only for those currently invested though. Variety of opinions makes these platforms both enjoyable and informative.
But anyway, glad you are OK mate and take care.
I’m still here but haven’t jumped back in yet.
I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to comment while I’m not invested.
“Substances and hookers”? I couldn’t afford that malarkey even if I was so inclined with the losses I’m carrying!
Good luck to those still invested.
