As someone who isn't a LTH, how exactly was BG responsible for the majors deciding to put the project into C&M (or indeed for them drilling in the wrong direction)?
Yes let’s give Brad one last chance partly because we have to as most can’t sell at these low prices but everyone wants to make money on this share having been in it so long and we only have one option and that’s for Brad to prove himself and get Omi drilling. Let traders come and go but as long as the sp is rising over the year and we stay positive everyone will be happy. Filter negative people and keep the faith.
John we must remember that it was not Brad who made investors press the sell or buy button at the wrong time. I do feel sorry for those who had to sell prematurely due to their own personal circumstances. It's no good attacking and blaming Brad for individuals share dealing failures. I can appreciate that Brad may have issued deadlines that were missed but we must judge him on the fact he has been straight jacketed by the timescales of our partners and even when we went into care and maintenance there was little Brad could have done to change the decision. Once the keys are handed back then we can judge Brad on his own merits and I think he might just surprise a few on here. I'm all for bringing our CEO to account but let's give him a chance to make the mistakes first.
Yes ST buts let not try and wind the negative people up in order to get a response now. Just filter or ignore and the sp will slowly rise and the they will get bored
Agree, some people here with 1, 5, and 9 posts have made tall claims, positive, negative or derogatory.
I don't feel sorry for post 1 in so much negativity or whatever you call it. I've seen a couple of idiots on 5 and 9 posts have severely savaged my view. And 13 of you so called "positive naive posters" entertained it.
As I said, I've guts to say what I like and have been over 5 years and will continue for as long as I've to.
Yes, in bull times, subject to the progress underneath I can change my view until BoD let me down again.
We pay for their salaries, and I don't treat them like greek gods!
If anyone don't like what I say- filter me.
And anyone wants to challenge my integrity, I had offered earlier, it is still open.
Don't keep repeating the same like a muppet, because lies won't turn into truth even if you yell 50 times.
I hope that clears some air?
It's just sad and desperate that someone would start up another account just to back up their own personal agenda. Anyway, I'm hoping all the negativity brigade will slowly disappear as we start our recovery on our new journey with Brad from and centre. It's funny though how all the doomsayers seem to quickly jump on the positivity bandwagon when the good times roll. Here's to the good times ahead GLA.
The game changer here will the the turnaround of assays, 5 days drilling and then 3 day turnaround for them back. Plus time for to write and authorise the RNS, 14 day turnaround? That’ll be much better than the 3-4 month we’re used to with the Orosur of the past. I see other companies in the region churning them out fortnightly. Why they never used the lab at Medellin and opted for Peru before… The majors agendas.
Here we go the gutless muppet ST whose forensics tools are down the Tin tin lane has nothing better to offer than blame blame blame ...
If I want to say something I would under my handle....like I've been over 5 years....I don't need alias or so called "positive rather naive posters" to undermine my efforts.
I genuinely tried to steer away owing some respect for Zaps, and John.
I'm happy to write loads more should you wish...
Thank you.
Well maybe yes but sadly the history of Omi and under its previous moniker UGY, when called Uruguay Minerals, where I have been invested for 20 years has been one of disappointment punctured by a few sharp rallies that have usually ended lower than when they started. I used to sometimes go to board meetings under Salazar and they were full of wonderful promise that never delivered…..maybe this time it is different….
Vick22 yet another alias account that has just been created to put the boot into OMI. Bharleevickmatt this is becoming tiresome.
Back to business just do not respond to negative commmets. It’s simple. If people reply to them you just open the door again.
Post number one. Haha. Is that you Leematt? 22, my lucky number. It could be an omen. See if you’re still here in a few weeks time and see what moods and happenings are on this board. A shame you weren’t here last time when it went from 1.8p to 45p he he. Gold price is much higher now though and Orosur will own 100% of Anza, a project that has had over $30m spent on it. Extensive field work has been undertaken over the last 5 years, which is now in Orosur hand. BOOM!
Seems to be a lot of expectant gamblers gathering here, hoping, betting and believing they will make a quick buck on the back of what they perceive is a no brainer. My penny share is going to go through the roof, , soon hitting 5p,6p,10p,40p, soon a millionaire, soon drills turning. Assays in 5 days (lol). Its going to the moon, hang on to your hats. BOOM! Fill yer boots, last chance to top up, .Golden tickets.
The same fickle penny share brigade could soon be bailing . The train is full now with investors hanging out the windows gleefully waving their golden share tickets in the air . Nothing is ever as it seems and OMI usually disappoints!!!
I’m waiting to add a few, was expecting mid-highs 3s but keep seeing large buys popping up. Around 4p seems to be the base. I think we’ll get the RNS well before the end of May, he’ll have overcooked it this time as anything other than that then he’ll lose even more credibility which with past history is hanging by a thread. Realistically this time next month we could potentially be nearing the first assays from Pepas if we get the Anza back RNS update by mid May and drilling is already underway, which is what I’m expecting. Exciting year ahead here.
We are almost into May now so potential 3/4 more weeks to go and the hurd will arrive. Bring on the 6p milestone
This is a fairly easy level to buy at. I've taken some more at these prices.
As I said when started the thread we just got to keep positive and those that are in will be rewarded.
A touch of blue cheers the troubled soul.
Large buys continue to come in here under the hood. Bid and Ask creeping up. GLA
I'm reasonably optimistic, but not going to buy any more until pen touches paper.
If the share price were to wander north before then this may be a mistake, but it feels this is probably the level until it does.
Yes wolfy totally agree, it does look very cheep at these levels, anything under 4p is a definite buy for me and yes it may still go lower but I think there will be many takers if does, many here including me, myself and I all 3 of us have paid much more than 4p, personally my average now stands at about 7p, so I have no intention of selling anything and I'm sure there's many others with even bigger averages, with the vast majority holding on to their golden tickets with may fast approaching and finally the drills start turning again especially at Pepas the sweet spot Brad's favourite I think, any positives coming out of there could see some fireworks for sure, so I remain quietly optimistic, no ramp just my take on the current situation glalths.
Some large buys today and Friday. Some are obviously loading up at these cheap prices, in readiness for another push up in May, when news should land on the Anza deal. GLA

An going saga, but my takeaway from it is near the end of the article, that "citizen's participation/popular referenda" can no longer veto a mining project. Unfortunately for Anglogold, it is not retrospective and thus it seems the citizen veto will remain for their project.
As best I can make out this is some 300km south of Anza.
Even the great saint Nick von Schirnding filled his ISA allowance recently. Unfortunately for us he used it to fill his goody bag full of Arc Minerals.
I hope we can keep this all civilised moving forward. This has been one of the best boards on LSE. Completely appreciate it can be difficult to tolerate when individual(s) are continuously sending overly negative or positive messages all day- depending on your own view.
Bhargav has been one of the most valuable contributors over the years and I think he does deserve some respect. I dont always agree with him and there was a period last year where he was was quite negative - not great to hear when one is invested with an amount one cannot afford to lose. However he is entitled to his views and he may feel that he needs to keep posting to cancel out what he sees over optimism. I am not defending him or justifying his approach. I have a neutral view on OMI - i think the share price will all depend on when the next dilution takes place - we have money in the bank but we will need more at some point. I just cant afford to have too many shares in this - i already know what it feels like when it hits 2p!
But there is nothing to discuss at the moment until the signing of contract which i genuinely think it will. GLA.
