Xeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG, 'Xeros', 'the Group'), the developer and provider of polymer based technologies with multiple commercial applications, today announces that Julian Viggars has informed the Board of his intention to resign from his role as a non-Executive Director of Xeros.

Following Julian's recent promotion to Chief Investment Officer of Mercia Technologies plc (AIM: MERC, 'Mercia',) and his appointment to the Board of Mercia, he has decided to step down from the Board of Xeros.

His resignation from the Board of Xeros will be effective 23 May 2018, following the Group's Annual General Meeting.

John Samuel, Chairman of Xeros, said:

"I would like to thank Julian for his contribution to our Board. As the representative of one of our initial investors, he has contributed greatly to our progress."
