Board Appointment
Wynnstay,Β the agricultural and retail group,Β is delighted to announce that Andrew Evans,Β General Manager of Wynnstay's Retail division,Β has been appointedΒ toΒ the BoardΒ asΒ Retail DirectorΒ with immediate effect.
Andrew, agedΒ 39Β years, joined Wynnstay in 1996,Β initially as Marketing ManagerΒ beforeΒ subsequently assumingΒ managementΒ of theΒ Retail division. Andrew hasΒ led the continuing development of Β the division,Β whichΒ has grownΒ from 13Β to 40 storesΒ under hisΒ direction. MostΒ recently, Andrew hasΒ played an integral roleΒ in Wynnstay'sΒ expansionΒ into the pet care market, launchingΒ theΒ Group'sΒ stand-aloneΒ pet stores under theΒ "Just for Pets"Β brand in June 2007.
PriorΒ to joining Wynnstay, Andrew was a territory managerΒ forΒ Janssen-CilagΒ Limited,Β a subsidiaryΒ ofΒ Johnson & Johnson's animal healthcare operations inΒ WalesΒ and theΒ WelshΒ BorderΒ Counties,Β where heΒ was responsible for the sales and marketing activity forΒ aΒ range of over-the-counterΒ products.

Commenting on the appointment, John Davies, Chairman, said,
