Wilmington Group Plc19 January 2005 For immediate release 19th January 2005 WILMINGTON GROUP PLC BOARD CHANGES Wilmington Group plc ("Wilmington" or "the Group"), the information and traininggroup, announces the appointment of David Summers as Chairman of the Group witheffect from 18th January 2005. David Summers has been a Non-Executive Director of Wilmington since 19 January2001. He was formerly a Director of Reed Elsevier (UK) Limited. He is currentlya member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal Panel and a Justice of the Peace forthe Kent Commission. David will succeed Bernard Jolles, who has resigned from the Board after threeand a half years as a Non-Executive Director, including two years as Chairman.During his chairmanship, the Group established its successful strategy offocusing on key market sectors and undertook a significant reorganisation of itsactivities. In due course, the Board intends to appoint a further Non-Executive Director whowill be expected to chair the Group's Audit Committee.
