Replacement announcement: This announcement replaces the "NFT Trademarks Registered" announcement released at 07:00 on 15/03/2021 under RNS 1743S. The announcement has been amended to clarify that Wildcat has applied to register the below NFT Trademarks. All other details remain the same.

NFT Trademarks
Wildcat Petroleum plc (LSE: WCAT), which is targeting investment opportunities in businesses and assets within the upstream sector of the petroleum industry and exploring the implementation of blockchain technology within the sector, is pleased to announce that it has applied to register the below trademarks:
· WILDCAT BITCOIN
· WILDCAT TOKEN
· WCAT BITCOIN
· WCAT TOKEN
· CRYPTO CAT
· CRYPTOCAT
· OIL BARREL BITCOIN
· OIL BARREL TOKEN
These trademarks have been applied for on the advice of the Company's newly appointed Blockchain Adviser, Professor Olinga Taeed in light of recent increasing interest and value of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The trademarks have been filed in the following classifications:
CLASS 9
| Downloadable cryptographic keys for receiving and spending cryptocurrencies |
CLASS 36
| Financial transactions via blockchain |
CLASS 42
| Data storage via blockchain; Data authentication via blockchain; Certification of data via Blockchain; Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) |
The Company does not envisage any problems in obtaining these trademarks, and will inform the market once it has received confirmation that they have been granted.
The Company would also like to note that it is making steady progress towards acquiring an oil asset and will make further announcements to the market regarding this in due course.

Wildcat Petroleum (LSE:WCAT) is listed on the standard segment of the official list, with shares traded on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. WCAT is seeking to acquire a business operating in the upstream sector of the petroleum industry - namely exploration, appraisal, development and production of oil and gas, with a primary focus on assets that are at the later phases of exploration and production. As part of the Company's commercial strategy, it is also exploring the implementation of blockchain technology within the oil and gas sector in order improve efficiencies when completing transactions across multiple markets. Following the acquisition, WCAT intends to seek re-admission of the enlarged group to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
