Board Appointment

Wildcat Petroleum Plc ("WCAT" or "the Company") a company targeting investment opportunities in businesses and assets within the upstream sector of the petroleum industry is pleased to announce that Dr. Olinga Taeed has been appointed to the board as Executive Director with immediate effect. Dr. Olinga Taeed ESG credentials and experience in driving business growth will significantly strengthen the board's capabilities through its next phase.

Dr. Olinga Taeed is a renowned entrepreneur and strategic advisor driving global business expansion and ESG-focused innovation. He currently holds key leadership roles, including Chair of the global coffee franchise BeanYou Ltd (BeanYou.com), a technology project using blockchain to tokenize real-world assets for a Kenyan coffee farm. Dr. Olinga Taeed is also the Chair of AITEA Intelligent Technology Co Ltd, a company focused on AI and blockchain advancements.

In 2019, he was appointed Expert Advisor and Council Member to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce 'China E-Commerce Blockchain Committee', overseeing its trillion-dollar sector, and was instrumental in launching the UK's first ICO in 2017, the Seratio Token, focused on non-financial assets. His advisory roles have extended to the UK government, serving as an impact investment advisor for the Big Society Think Tank under Prime Minister David Cameron (2011-2014) and later on the Chancellor, advising on cross-border agreements. A distinguished academic and with decades of professional experience, Dr. Olinga Taeed continues to advise foreign governments including, the Vatican, on social impact policy.

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of UKLR 6.4.8R in relation to this appointment.
