Notification of change in Directorship

Vesuvius plc announces that Holly Koeppel, an independent non-executive director of Vesuvius plc and member of its Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees, has today been appointed as a non-executive director of British American Tobacco p.l.c., following the completion of its acquisition of Reynolds American Inc. As part of the completion process, Ms Koeppel has stepped down from the board of Reynolds American Inc, on which she served as an independent non-executive director since 2008, and where she was Chair of the Regulatory, Sustainability and Public Policy Committee and a member of the Audit and Finance Committee.

This notification is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
