Trifast PLC02 August 2006 Trifast plc (the "Company") today announces the following changes in Directors'interests in Trifast ordinary shares of 5p each. On 31st July 2006, the Company granted the following conditional share awards toits Executive Directors under the Trifast plc 2005 Long-Term Incentive Planapproved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 20th September 2005:- Director Number of SharesJim Barker 450,000Stuart Lawson 300,000Geoffrey Budd 300,000Steven Tan 300,000Steve Auld 300,000 The earliest normal vesting date on which shares may be released is 31st July2009. Awards will be released based upon the Company's Return On Capital Employedperformance measured over a three year period from the date of grant. No awardswill be capable of release unless the Company's Total Shareholder Return is atleast at the median of its comparator group over the same period.
