Trifast PLC08 January 2008 8 January 2008 TRIFAST PLC Board Changes Trifast PLC ('Trifast' or 'the Company') is pleased to announce the appointmentof William (Bill) Currie Neil Wilson as a Non-Executive Director of the Companywith immediate effect. Bill Wilson has been Chief Executive Officer of theengineering and distribution group WYKO Group Ltd (part of Eriks Group NV) sinceNovember 2003. WYKO operates from over 200 business units with annual sales ofaround £240m in the UK, USA, Europe, China and Japan. Prior to WYKO, Billpreviously held various senior management positions within the Wrth Group, aninternational distributor focusing on fasteners and tools. Bill Wilson has been appointed to the Board in advance of Andrew Cripps retiringas a Non-Executive Director of the Company on 30 March 2008. Bill Wilson willimmediately assume Andrew Cripps' position as chair of Trifast's RemunerationCommittee and will sit on the Audit and Nominations Committee. In addition, Trifast announces the planned retirement of Steven Tan, anExecutive Director of the Company and Managing Director of TR Asia, as of 7January 2008. As part of the planned succession arrangements Dr. Mike Teng willnow assume the position of Managing Director of TR Asia, where he was previouslyGeneral Manager.
