London, Wednesday, 31 August 2022:  Trifast today announces that Clare Foster is leaving the Group with immediate effect and will not be seeking re-election at the Group's Annual General Meeting. 

The Company would like to thank Clare for her seven years of service and commitment in which time, as part of the senior management team she has helped develop the Group's financial strategy and steer the business through an important period of change and development. On behalf of the Board and everyone around the business we wish Clare well for the future and in the next phase of her career.

The Company has appointed Russell Reynolds, who have commenced a formal recruitment process for a permanent replacement and a further update on this will be made in due course. In the interim period, Andy Cooksey will join the Group on 1 September 2022 to assume the role of interim Chief Financial Officer in the Group's central finance team and provide advice to the PLC and Operating Executive Boards.

A chartered accountant, Andy has over 30 years' senior financial experience. Over this time, he has gained extensive knowledge of international businesses and markets and has developed a solid understanding of key strategic drivers, financial strategy, and leadership. Andy has held senior Executive finance roles within Blue Circle Industries plc, RMC plc and Heathrow Airport.

Market and trading conditions remain as described in the Group's results for the year ended 31 March 2022, which were published on 26 July 2022. We look forward to providing an update in mid-October 2022 on progress following the conclusion of the first half of our 2023 financial year.
