Tasty PLC29 September 2006 TASTY PLC ISSUE OF EQUITY PLACING OF 3,225,806 NEW ORDINARY SHARES Tasty plc ("Tasty" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has todayraised £3.0 million, before expenses, through a placing of 3,225,806 newordinary shares of 10 pence each ("New Shares") at a price of 93 pence per share(the "Placing Price") with new and existing investors ("the Placing"). ThePlacing Price represents a discount of 11.83 per cent to the closing middlemarket price of the Company on 28 September 2006 (being the latest practicabledate prior to this announcement). The New Shares represent approximately 14.16per cent. of the current issued share capital of the Company. The Placing isconditional upon admission of the New Shares to trading on AIM. The net proceeds from the Placing will be used by the Company to accelerate theexpansion of its restaurants and to establish a central kitchen. The Directorscan confirm that current trading is in line with their expectations. Application will be made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM anddealings are expected to commence on 9 October 2006. The Company has been informed that Samuel Kaye, an Executive Director, and AdamKaye, a Non-Executive Director, purchased 726,476 New Shares in the Placing.Following this purchase, Samuel Kaye and Adam Kaye have a holding of 5,953,218ordinary shares each, with each holding representing 22.89 per cent. of theCompany's enlarged issued ordinary share capital. Keith Lassman, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has also purchased10,752 New Shares in the Placing. Following this purchase, Keith Lassman has aholding of 29,982 ordinary shares, representing 0.12 per cent. of the Company'senlarged issued ordinary share capital. The Company has also been informed that Philip Kaye, a major shareholder,purchased 41,669 New Shares in this Placing.
