Audit Tender

Synthomer plc ("the Company") announces that, following a competitive tender process, the Board has, in accordance with the recommendation of the Audit Committee, decided to retain PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as auditor for the Company. PwC were first appointed in July 2012.

Caroline Johnstone, Chair of the Audit Committee said

"We indicated our intention to tender the audit in the Company's 2015 annual report and have conducted a thorough process which has led to the Audit Committee's recommendation to retain PwC. I am pleased this recommendation has been accepted by the Board and I would like to thank the other firms who took part in the tender. We look forward to continuing to work with PwC".
