Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited ('DDS' or the 'Company')
The Company has been informed that on 14 July 2008, Supernova Holdings Limited ('Supernova') disposed of 5,095,225 long CFDs over DDS shares at an average price of 43.8c per share. Staracre Limited ('Staracre') disposed of 12,800,000 shares in DDS at an average price of 30.0c per share. On 11 July 2008 Supernova disposed of 5,000 long CFDs over DDS shares at 54.5c.
These disposals have been made as a result of the forced closing of a leveraged position.
Peter Klimt, a non-executive director of Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited, has a substantial indirect interest in Supernova and Staracre.
Guy Naggar, Frank Oppenheim and Kevin Oppenheim, all of whom are directors of the Company's asset manager, Dawnay, Day Sirius Real Estate Asset Management Limited, have a substantial direct or indirect interest in Supernova and Staracre.
Following the above disposals, the above named individuals have the following interests in the Company:

* Peter Klimt and his family interests indirectly hold 25% of the share capital of Staracre Limited and Supernova. Therefore, Peter Klimt has an indirect interest in 3,750,000 shares, representing 1.2% of the Company's issued shares, and 1,044,330 long CFDs.
