Synairgen plc08 November 2006 Director Shareholdings Synairgen plc ("Synairgen" or the "Company") The Company was informed on 7 November 2006 that Dr David Bruce Campbell,Non-executive Director of Synairgen and Executive Director and Chief ScientificOfficer of IP Group plc, acquired a beneficial interest in 216,923 ordinaryshares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 7 November 2006. Thisbeneficial interest results from the transfer of Ordinary Shares from IP Groupplc to Dr David Bruce Campbell for nil consideration as part of the IP Group plcbonus scheme. As a consequence his holding in the Company equates to 216,923Ordinary Shares, which represents approximately 1.00 per cent. of the issuedordinary share capital of the Company.
