Severfield-Rowen PLC09 January 2007 9 January 2007 SEVERFIELD-ROWEN PLC 2006 Trading Update Severfield-Rowen Plc, the market leading structural steel group, issues thefollowing trading update relating to its full year performance for the yearended 31 December 2006. Severfield-Rowen expects to deliver another strong performance for the full year2006 with significant increases in both profits and margins. In its half year announcement of 26 September 2006 the Group referred to currenttrading being ahead of management's expectations. This persisted through to theend of the year and as a result management now expects profit before tax to bematerially ahead of current market consensus. The Group continues to operate in a buoyant market which is experiencing a highdemand for large scale projects.
