Update - Kenya

Red Rock Resources plc ("Red Rock" or the "Company"), the gold mining and exploration company with projects in Greenland and Colombia, exploration in Kenya, and interests in steel feed, uranium, and rare earths, reports on progress at the Migori gold/copper project in Kenya.

The Company has approved the immediate commencement of a small drill programme to test the geophysical targets identified by the VTEM survey in 2010 and refined by the recent ground IP (induced polarisation) geophysics programme ("Barnabas Project"). The target is volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) copper-gold mineralization similar to that previously mined at the Macalder mine within the project area, and/or gold in graphites adjacent to banded iron formations.

The programmes of infill and extension drilling of existing resource areas, and drill exploration of new areas, have been completed for 2011, with the exception of a very small number of planned holes where landowner access issues arose.

A new Resource calculation for the Macalder Tailings Project ("MTP") is expected next week from CSA Global Pty Ltd ("CSA"), and the first stage of the scoping study work being carried out on the MTP has been received from Saint Barbara LLP.

CSA is also commencing wireframing and modelling of the Resource at the KKM Prospect, and provided that unforeseen data issues do not arise the Company hopes to announce a new Resource calculation during October.

New Resource calculations at Gori Maria, and then at the other areas of infill drilling, and results of the exploration drilling, will be announced in stages as the information is received.

The Departmental Committee on Lands and Natural Resources of the Kenya National Assembly has been conducting an Inspection Tour of Gold Mining Areas, and visited the Mikei camp on Monday 26th September 2011. The Company made a presentation and answered questions from the Committee. This was a valuable opportunity for the Company to describe its activities, and Red Rock was encouraged by the support being expressed for rapid development of gold production in the area.
