Director dealings in shares

London, 1 May: The Company was informed on 24 April 2012 that Dr. Rolf Stomberg, Senior Independent Director, has purchased 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 200p per share.

Following this transaction, Dr. Stomberg will hold a total of 50,000 shares in RusPetro representing 0.015% of the Company's issued share capital.
