The Board of Reach plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Fuller as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. His start date will be confirmed in due course.

Simon is currently the Chief Financial Officer at McColl's Retail Group plc ("McColl's"), a position he has held since April 2016. Simon joined McColl's in October 2015 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, he worked for 7 years at Tesco in a range of UK Finance Director roles, covering logistics and supply chain, operations, online and trading. Earlier in his career Simon had senior finance roles at BT and COLT, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001. Simon is a trustee of the Foundation Years Trust.

Simon's appointment follows an extensive search conducted by external search consultants, which involved consideration of a wide field of candidates.

As previously announced, the Board anticipates that Vijay Vaghela will step down from the Board of Directors as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary when Simon joins Reach. Exact timings have yet to be agreed and will be disclosed at the appropriate time.

There are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
