Quintain Estates and Development plc ("Quintain")

New joint venture with Hong Kong investor to develop Greenwich Peninsula

Result of General Meeting

Further to the announcements on 18 June 2012 and 4 July 2012, Quintain announces that, at the general meeting held today, the resolution to approve the new joint venture relating to Greenwich Peninsula Regeneration Limited with Knight Dragon Limited, an investment vehicle ultimately owned by Dr. Henry Cheng Kar-Shun, was passed by shareholders. Completion of the transaction is scheduled to take place on Friday 27 July 2012.
