Provexis plc, the life-science business that discovers, develops and licenses scientifically-proven functional food, medical food and dietary supplement technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Krijn Rietveld to its board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Krijn Rietveld (51), a Senior Vice President at DSM Nutritional Products Ltd and responsible for the Nutrition Innovation Group of DSM, is joining the board following DSM Venturing B.V.'s ("DSM Venturing") investment in the Company as announced on 1 August 2008. DSM Venturing is interested in 230,769,230 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each representing 29.3 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. Mr Rietveld is also a director of Gist-brocades Beheer II B.V.
There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
