Princess announces interim dividend and publishes first quarter 2019 report

Princess Private Equity Holding Limited ("Princess" or the "Company") today published its interim report for the three-month period ended 31 March 2019. The key items were:

· Net asset value ("NAV") increased to EUR 11.51 per share, representing a total return of +5.6% for the first quarter

· Valuation developments (+6.5%) were the key driver of NAV growth. Amongst the largest contributors to NAV growth were GlobalLogic, Action, Foncia, Permotio and Vishal Mega Mart

· Share price total return of +14.6% as equity markets recovered from the volatility and declines of the fourth quarter of 2018

· Princess declared an increased first interim dividend of EUR 0.29 per share (2018: 0.28 per share). The Company maintains its objective to distribute 5-8% of opening NAV per annum via semi-annual dividends

· Investment activity totaled EUR 10.1 million, including an add-on investment in Permotio International Learning to fund the company's buy-and-build strategy

· Realizations of EUR 31.9 million, including the full exit of Agiliti and the sale of shares of Ceridian HCM

Richard Battey, Chairman, comments: "Princess continued to develop positively during the first quarter of 2019, with performance driven by strong EBITDA growth at portfolio company level. Following the positive NAV performance, and reflecting its confidence in the prospects for the portfolio, the Board is pleased to announce an increased interim dividend. Princess' dividend policy allows shareholders to participate in the growth of the Company and the Board believes that the combination of an attractive dividend yield and capital growth should continue to enhance the appeal of the Company to both new and existing investors."
