Board Update

Octagonal Plc (LSE: OCT), the AIM traded financial services group, is pleased to announce that it has today appointed current Director and Chief Operations Officer, Samantha Esqulant, as Chief Executive Officer with current CEO, John Gunn, moving to Executive Chairman.

This decision is to bring the day to day operations of Octagonal more in line with those of its principal operating subsidiary Global Investment Strategy UK Limited ("GIS") where Samantha has been Chief Executive (FCA CF3 role) since May 2016. John will remain actively involved in all aspect of the business but will focus on formulating the strategy of the Group and business development consistent with the initiatives the Group have taken to date. Samantha will take day to day responsibility for the Group's activities.

Furthermore, regulatory checks are being completed on a proposed independent non-Executive Director with significant financial services experience to join the Board and the Company expects to announce this appointment shortly. The Board will further update shareholders on group activities on release of the year end audited accounts.
