Appointment of Will Hobman as CFO

NewRiver is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Hobman as Chief Financial Officer of the Company; he will join the Board on completion of the disposal of Hawthorn Leisure REIT Limited ("Hawthorn"), which is expected to be on 20 August 2021.

Will has been NewRiver's Finance Director for almost two years and with the Company for over five years and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Baroness Ford, Non-Executive Chairman, commented: "We are delighted that Will has accepted the position of CFO and I know, from his contribution to the Company to date, that he will be an excellent addition to the Board. I look forward to working with him."

The Company confirms that there is no further information relating to Will that requires disclosure under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
