Highlights
·; Strong Q1 performance
·; Active casino players 21,332 up 21.9% on Q4 2010
·; New casino players 17,978 up 14.9% up on Q4 2010
·; Supercasino acquired 22% of its new players via the i-phone application which accounted for 12% of its active players during the period
·; Full year 2011 trading anticipated to be in-line with expectations
NetPlay TV plc (AIM: NPT), the interactive gaming company, is pleased to announce that following a strong end to 2010, the Company has continued to improve its performance into the first quarter of 2011, resulting in the business returning to positive EBITDA.
The Company continues to work to maximise the number of players acquired through the television, whilst the Company's conversion and retention strategy is improving player loyalty and life time value.
Mobile continues to perform well with 22% of new Supercasino players in the quarter joining via our iPhone application. An iPad version is due to be released by the end of Q2 which will further strengthen our mobile presence.
Overall 2011 has started well and the Company is confident that it will continue to deliver a solid performance for the full year, in-line with market expectations.
The Company is expecting to release full year 2010 preliminary results by the end of May 2011.
