NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
The Board of A & J Mucklow Group plc have today appointed Mr Jock Lennox as an independent non-executive director and Chairman of the Group's Audit Committee with effect from 1 December 2010.
Mr Lennox (aged 54) retired as a Partner of Ernst & Young in April 2009, where he advised international and UK clients, across a range of business sectors. He joined the firm in 1977 and become a Partner in 1988.
Mr Lennox is also a non-executive director at Enquest plc, Hill & Smith Holdings plc and Oxford Instruments plc, as well as being a member of the Advisory Board of Alchemy and the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and a trustee of the Tall Ships Youth Trust.
Mr Rupert Mucklow, Chairman of A & J Mucklow Group plc, said:

There are no further matters to be disclosed by paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
Mr Lennox does not hold any shares in A & J Mucklow Group plc.
