Meikles Africa Ld31 July 2007 MEIKLES AFRICA LIMITED CAUTIONARY STATEMENT Shareholders are advised that negotiations are at a preliminary stage for ascheme of arrangement of the shareholding of Meikles Africa Limited, KingdomFinancial Holdings Limited, Tanganda Tea Company Limited and Cotton Printers(Private) Limited that will result in the entities being consolidated into onecorporate body listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange while still retaining theMeikles Africa Limited listing on the London Stock Exchange. It is envisaged that the proposed group will provide an enhanced critical massto create further opportunities in Zimbabwe and the region. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing withtheir shares. Shareholders will be kept informed on the progress of negotiations.
