Meikles Africa Ld14 November 2007 NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADJOURN EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING Shareholders are hereby advised of an intention to adjourn the ExtraordinaryGeneral Meeting due to be held at 9:00 Hours on Thursday 15 November, at theMirabelle Room, Meikles Hotel. Shareholders are informed that substantial support has been received in themarket for the business rationale for the merger. Further substantial supporthas been received from shareholders for the proposed resolutions two to ten.Reservation has, however, been expressed by the largest minority shareholder ofMeikles Africa to the proposed resolution number one pertaining to KingdomFinancial Holdings Limited. The Board of Meikles Africa continues to support the business case for themerger in its entirety, and is of the view that unless all resolutions areconsidered at the same meeting the business objectives of the merger will not bemet. Therefore, it would be in the interest of shareholders to adjourn theExtraordinary General Meeting to a later date to be advised, thereby allowingtime for further discussion on the resolution number one with the relevantparties. Shareholders will be advised of the outcome of such discussion, and the reviseddate of the Extraordinary General Meeting.
