Liberty PLC26 April 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 26th April 2007 LIBERTY PLC: LIBERTY PARTS COMPANY WITH CHIEF EXECUTIVE Liberty Plc ("Liberty"), the iconic West End emporium, today announces that IainRenwick, Chief Executive, has left the Company with immediate effect. A newChief Executive has been identified and negotiations are at an advanced stage.Liberty will be making a further announcement shortly. Iain Renwick has been running the retail group for the past four and half yearsand has overseen Liberty's transformation from heavy losses into near break-evenand made the store, once more, a retail destination centre noted for its cuttingedge design. During his stewardship the Company successfully launched itsLiberty of London luxury brand. Richard Balfour-Lynn, Executive Chairman of Liberty, said: "Iain has made amajor contribution to the current success of Liberty's retail business and hascreated a fantastic team of senior executives. In future, the Company's focuswill be on the expansion of its Liberty of London luxury brand which requires adifferent approach and style of leadership." Ends.
