Indian subsidiary financial results (under Indian GAAP)
KSK Power Ventur plc (AIM: KSK.L) ("KSKPV"), the power project company listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, with interests in multiple power plants across India, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, KSK Energy Ventures Limited ("KSKEV"), the equity shares in which are listed and traded on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited ("NSE") and the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited ("BSE"), has filed with the NSE and BSE on 9th May 2009 its audited financial results for the year ended 31st March 2009. KSKPV holds 55.24 per cent. of the shares of KSKEV.
The KSKEV results are in line with expectations, with consolidated total income of INR 3,801m (2008: INR 2,457m) and consolidated net profit of INR 1,359m (2008: INR 1,024m). KSKPV intends to present its consolidated financial results (under IFRS) for the same period, which are expected to be released during June 2009.
