Application for Admission & Total Voting Rights

JD Sports Fashion Plc ("JD" or the "Company") announces that an application has been made for the admission of 7,018,648 ordinary shares of 1.25p each in the Company (the 'Shares') to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. Admission is expected to take place on 8 August 2014.

All of the Shares have been previously issued and allotted. 4,265,932 of the Ordinary Shares have been issued and allotted under employee share schemes in the period January 2001 to January 2006. 2,752,716 of the Ordinary Shares have been issued and allotted in relation to scrip dividends in 2004 and 2006. As a result, following admission, there will be no change to the Company's current issued share capital which consists of 194,646,632 Ordinary Shares, with each share carrying the right to one vote.

The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury therefore the total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company with voting rights is 194,646,632.

The above figure of 194,646,632 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
