 Scrip Dividend Reference Price

Further to the Company's Annual Results Release on 16 March 2022 and the 2022 AGM Notice which was published on 9 May 2022, the Company announces that the Scrip Reference Share Price for the 2021 Final Dividend, payable on 30 June 2022, is 85.3 pence. Defined terms in this announcement are as defined in the 2022 AGM Notice.

The Scrip Reference Share Price is the price at which the Company's Ordinary Shares will be issued and/or Ordinary Shares held in treasury will be sold to shareholders who have elected to receive dividends in the form of fully paid shares in the Company in lieu of cash through participation in the optional Scrip Dividend Scheme, subject to the approval of the applicable resolutions at the 2022 AGM.

The Scrip Reference Share Price is the average of the mid-market closing price of the Company's Ordinary Shares, as derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List, for the five dealing days commencing on the relevant ex-dividend date (being 26 May to 01 June 2022).

Any shareholder entitled to the 2021 Final Dividend who has not already completed a Scrip Dividend Mandate Form or a Dividend Election Input Message in CREST and is intending to do so, should refer to the Scrip Dividend Scheme Terms and Conditions which can be found at:

The final time and date for receipt of Scrip Dividend Mandates and Dividend Election Input Messages in CREST is 5:00pm on 09 June 2022.
