IP Group plc - Further re Scrip Dividend

IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group"), which develops world-changing science and technology businesses across life sciences, technology and cleantech, announces that further to the announcement made on 06 June 2022 in relation to the Scrip Dividend, the Group has received valid elections from certain shareholders. IP Group intends to sell Ordinary Shares which are currently held in treasury to satisfy such elections and will transfer these shares pursuant to the Scrip Dividend Terms and Conditions ("the Scrip Dividend Shares"). 

330,851 Scrip Dividend Shares will be transferred to relevant shareholders on 30 June 2022. Following such transfer, and in accordance with the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority, the Group will have 1,063,033,287 Ordinary Shares in issue and 28,607,622 shares in Treasury.

The total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights following the satisfaction of the transfer will be 1,034,425,665 Ordinary Shares. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Group as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Group under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.
